Thanks,

The rattle is faintly beginning to return on mine yet again. Just a quick short buzz when it first starts. I know it is going to become more pronounced eventually.

That sucks!! BTW, do you remember what part # was your muffler is? MadMike said that he got a "new '08" muffler and would look for the part # for it, but it's taking longer 'cause he had an emergency to take care of. However, we're not sure if it's supposed to fix the issue. I posted my part # a few threads back.

Guess, you could keep driving the dealership crazy by bringing it back, or wait til it really gets more pronounced and get aftermarket.

Just got off the phone with Infiniti consumer affairs. The CSR that I spoke to knew qabsolutely nothing. The conversation was basically a complete waste of time.

So if you have the new part number will you please share it here- that would help out a great deal.

I am going to check back with my dealer again but I will likely take this to the next level if this issue isn't addressed on my car.

Heard my first "buzzing" sound tonight coming from my exhaust, sounded terrible. It was pretty loud the first 30 or so seconds upon cold start, (not the normal louder, raspy sound upon cold start), but it went away completely once warmed up. I'm sure this is the beginning of what you guys are all going through, SIGH!!

Mine went to the dealer today. They are ordering me a new muffler. They were really great about it, no questions or problems. I have a really good video of the rattle:

Enjoy.
