So I replaced my bumper today - looks awesome - can't wait to do more!

When I was doing the install though, I noticed a wire poking out the front of the car on the drivers side...it was black with maybe a half dozen smaller colored wires inside. I've circled the the wire in the closeup, and then on the zoom-out for some context. Are G's prewired for the adaptive cruise control or something? It's a 2008 G37S, by the way

Anyone have a clue as to what it's for?

I'm guessing it's part of the park assist sonar...

 

08 doesn't have park assist

Was the car bought used?

 

Obvious question is... Where does it go to?

 

By looking at the pic it looks like its an aftermarket wire.

 

I don't have that wire, where can I get it?

Yes, the car was used. Don't see anything inside the car that it'd go to...

 

Perhaps the built in radar/laser wiring that the previous owner didn't feel like taking out?

 

I bet if you follow the wire it'll lead you somewhere or something hidden. That wire looks totally outta place and stock wires doesn't look like that.
