@MotorvateDIY installed his GTR gauges in my car, I get to be world's first G with GTR gauges lol. You can customize the view and add all sort of gauges. Next step is to add an oil pressure sensor so I can get that reading too.

Ok,so while this doesn’t touch @hexotic ’s GTR Guage post, I replaced my side window tint with 35% ceramic as the prior tint was 11 years old and finally starting to crack and delaminate on the side windows. I left the back window alone because it still looks ok and I really don’t want to break my defrosters taking the old tint off.
Paid $90 for the labor to remove the old tint and $299 to tint the 4 side windows. Contrast to 2013 where I paid $179 to tint the entire car. When do the chicken pox looking air bubbles go away? I was told two weeks by the tint guy.
35% ceramic looks darker to me compared to the 11 year old tint.
Added these little OEM “GT” badges I’ve had laying around, which from my research, came on all *R34 Skylines (from the 25GT sedan all the way up to the GTR coupe). Slapped em on at roughly the same spot, toward the bottom of the front fenders.
for afar it looks fine, but up closer, I think they stand out too much. And I have the 3.7 badge further up. Overall conclusion, things got too busy and the GT badges are prob going to come off. But I’ll leave em on for now, maybe they’ll grow on me

Looks great, my tint is roughly that old as well. Think I might replace it soon.
Did you consider tinting the windshield with a very very light tint, to help protect the dashboard from cracking?
I don’t like tinted windshields at all, but if the tint is super light yet blocks UV radiation (I guess that’s what causes dash cracking?), it’s something I’d prob do
I park in the garage most of the time, so didn't consider tinting the windshield.
If you part outside, it's probably a good idea for the reason you stated.
The rear window is tough as I know it needs to be done in the near future, but I don't want to destroy the defroster (although I have never used the defroster, but hate breaking things).
Our tint guy (just had the Q5 side windows done) has a clear but IR-blocking tint that's legal for windshields and the like. We're getting the windshield and her pano sunroof done before it gets hot next March.
Today I drove my G and put gas in it - for the first time since May.
Nothing changed, it still makes me grin even though the suspension isn't as sorted as I want.
I do need to install the VLine carplay unit I got back in the group buy - I'm spoiled by all our other cars having carplay.
I have thought about doing something similar, but I’m also interested in installing Frank’s GTR Gauges and I don’t think the two can coexist with one another.
With the colder weather, I've noticed the car having a harder time turning over. So I took it to the shop and they ran a load test on the battery.
And then I bought a new battery. It's only been 5 years, but she's dying, battery tender notwithstanding.
I'll be installing it tonight. Always a PITA removing the trim and lifting that boat anchor straight up.
5 years is excellent. Didn’t want to try an optima Red Top AGM battery, it’s alot lighter :-) Agree on the removal of all that cowl trim as I always feel like I’m lessening the integrity of the seal around the window every time I remove it.
