Next you're going to tell me that VHS is better than Beta-Max.

Obviously I kid. I've got an old iPod Nano that plugs in just fine and is better with more capacity than the music box. Still, the music box is handy, too, with about 100 albums on it. Loaded it up with favorites four years ago... I really should change things up, you think? LOL

VHS...that was the channel next to MTV right?

As for the nano-pod, don't worry...they say size doesn't matter... Not that I would know.

While I haven't had time to install them yet, I bought these for my car

Figure most on here won't be fans, but they're functional since I've noticed parking in/near DC has resulted in a few minor door dings.

Was surprised that the paint job on these are pretty much flawless, so should blend in OK, besides, last car had these from the factory, so I accustomed to seeing them on there (even prefer the look)

I actually bought if of forum member Vini and he originally had it with blue stitching so I had it shipped to forum member Ryne, who at the time was doing my rewrap pedal steering wheel for me, and had him redye the stitching to match my steering wheel. It was a bit of a hassle but finally got it all done thanks to amazing work by fellow members!

I also vinyl wrapped the top silver portion in a 3m brushed black aluminum to match my interior.

I'm pretty sure Dallas Customs originally did the wrapped shift **** for Vini and if I'm not mistaken it was on the ballpark of $150. Don't quote me on that though.

Today I brought my sedan in for some pre-roadtrip service, including
  • two new Hankook Ventus S1 noble2 tires (this dealership seems to be the only place in town that actually had them in stock, I called 3 other places)
  • new brake rotors and pads up front
  • brake fluid
  • fixed a dead foglamp
  • oil change
While I was waiting, I took a long, soul-searching walkaround of a 2013 G37 coupe with a retractable hardtop that they had on the lot. Same color as mine, black interior.

My soul still aches.

It doesn't look terrible to me. Took me a moment to even see what you were talking about. Let us see some pics when you have them on.

Lol , ok I rounded up. Still going strong after all those miles. ..This is my 3rd Nissan-infiniti car I've driven from under 50m to 100k , 06 sentra spec v and 09 maxima. All without those recommend xx,xxx mile services from the dealership. Unlike the other two, I'm keeping this car till the end.
