What did you do to your Sedan today?
Today I changed the oil in both my cars. For the G, that's an annual thing, because I use synthetic and only drive about 5-6K per year. These old bones of mine are starting to complain about doing this, but I've got the routine down pretty good. Plus, I'm using better quality filters and oil than any drive-up shop would, and at half the cost because DIY.
Notice that because of the drop, in order to get up on the ramps, first I have to drive up on that six foot section of 12x1.

And since I have to remove the engine cover to get the leverage to unscrew my oil cap, and I have to remove the FSTB in order to remove the engine cover (sigh), figure I'd do a little engine bay cleaning, too.

Very nice looking ride Roch. I like the wheels,
And the engine bay is sharp.
I thought my FX was the only car that had a hyper-tight oil-filler cap. Can't figure why I always need a wrench to open something that I put on finger-tight.

The oil cap is aftermarket. If I used the OEM cap, it wouldn't be a problem, just whip out the wrench and /done.
Just to make it more helpful removing your oil cap - instead of taking off your engine cover - how about putting an old rag or towel over the oil cap and use groove joint pliers to loosen the oil cap...That's been my "go-to" trick for years

BTW, your engine bay is nice and clean as always!
Those pictures helped me make my final decision! I'm selling my cv3 wheels and getting the cvt model! Your car is absolutely stunning Roch! And I'm really loving that engine cover!
Ever since I messed up my engine cover beyond repair in March, I've kept it off the car. Finally bought an OEM engine cover on eBay in pretty good condition for only $60 shipped.

The CVT's are beautiful, but so are your CV3's.If you go with 19's, and you have the Akebono BBK, be forewarned that Vossen is supplying their retailers with a pair of Hawkshead TPMS adapters, so that the front valve stem can clear the big caliper.
If you go with 20's... there's no clearance issue.

Your wheels kick ***.
Thanks Roch and bikezilla truly appreciate it idk why I'm thinking I want a new set. Maybe I should take a step back and think about it before dealing with the hassle of selling mine now. I really want a set of Work hs201 wheels but they're impossible to find unfortunately since they're discontinued.
They were a breeze to install. The only "difficult" part is having to compress the OEM springs to remove the top perch for the fronts. Rear toe bolts were installed too.. Wasn't hard, just nerve-racking because we didn't want to mess up the cut.
My initial thoughts on the coilovers are extremely positive! No noise and smooth riding. I still need an alignment but so far they're fantastic.
Productive weekend: 30,000 mile maintenance: Mobile 1 synthetic oil change w/filter, Mobile 1 synthetic rear diff change, new air filters, cabin filter, wipers, and rotated tires. I waited on brake fluid change for now as the pads are getting low so plan to do new rotors/pads/fluid toward end of summer.
Also finally got around to installing my Swift Springs, had to wrestle a little with the fronts getting the assembly out of the fork but otherwise with a impact wrench and 1100ft/lb of torque bolt removal was a breeze. The rears took less than 30 min combined. Having spent years working on Honda/Acura rear suspensions that always had issues with frozen bolts in the rear lower control arms this was a breeze and result was exactly what I was looking for. Will post pics once it settles in a few days.
