Spent about 10 hours yesterday working on the driver side demon bolt. PB blaster 24 hour bath, 1/2" extensions, universal joint, and electric harbor freight impact gun did nothing. Breaker bar with jack handle over it ended up stripping it after trying twice, heating it, and trying again. Tried to dremel the face off, ended up drilling into it for a couple hours, then was able to knock that first small piece off the face with a chisel. Drilled a bit more and was able to snap it off. Mangled a bit of the rim/lip, hopefully that doesn't kill the resale. Passenger side came right off with the breaker bar and extensions. If I knew what a mess it was going to be, I definitely would have just paid a shop to do it.

Got the Berks on, no rasp or CEL, so I suppose it was a good day. Hopefully the wife doesn't think it's too loud. It's on an Invidia Q300, so it's tamer than most, bit still a bit noisy. If she hates it enough, maybe I can get some RHFC Butt dyno feels much improved, especially punching it at 60mph-[redacted].

Didn't really do anything but had to borrow my father's van while moving so he has had the g37S for a few days. Says he hates the throttle response from a stop, can't say I blame him lol also says the steering is heavy, but that's something I love

Intalled my Tanabe Springs up front...PITA
I urge anyone who is putting on springs to take off the stut yourself this was fairly easy except that bitch 19 MM bolt....But the compression of the spring is not worth it to do yourself.... take them in to be compressed and adjusted. Especially if they are dual rate with the tight coils ...it took them like nothing to do my left one..took me forever to do the right one and it still needed to be adjusted. Blah....

As I posted before, I wrapped my interior in Black Brushed Metal. Today my Black Brushed ***** came in from China. I guess I'm kinda in a dilemma now. I know at the end of the end it's my decision but I'm just looking for feedback. What do you guys think?

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3 (Something Different)

I like option 1. And this is coming from a guy who has CARSMO *****. IDK why, but I like the all dark. Definitely NOT the mixed **** look IMO.

Agree. All ***** the same. But I'm conservative with a distinct lack of esthetic sense.

#1 but get rid of the chrome trim around the shifter, or #2 if you're not planning on getting rid of any of the chrome.

This was actually done almost two weeks ago but I couldn't get pics done until today. BIG THANKS to Brad for all of his input/advice. He's such a good guy

19x9 coupe wheels 245/40's on BF Goodrich G Force Comp 2 A/S

I love the new wheels- they're even more striking on the car than I anticipated.

I'm on an OEM xS suspension with just Hotchkis sways. I'm not digging the wheel gap but I'm not sure I want to go the spring's or coilover route for just an inch or so drop. As much as I love the car (way more than I anticipated), I'll likely be upgrading in a year or two. I probably need to take out the rear spacers b/c they poke out a bit much.

I don't know about that...what've you got on there, 20mm spacers?

They look pretty good to me...maybe just a bit of poke. I run 20mm spacers with the 8 1/2" coupe wheels and same tire size and they're pretty flush.
