Got my cai installed today and saw some good results on the butt dyno! Definitely an improvement in the sound/feel when I hit the gas so I'm happy. Only bad thing is my grille mesh is a little too easy to see through so I'm gonna try and come up with a way to fix that, oh and I guess a bigger badge..

Actually... that looks pretty awesome just the way it is. Well, paint the grille surround, obviously. But seeing the pipes and filters, with the chrome Fuji centered like that... pretty cool, IMO, driving in the rain notwithstanding.

Not digging the corner tag, though. Really ruins the look.

Agree w/ Rochester, that CAI deserves to command some attention, and that mesh grill is just the perfect showcase. It would appear that a splash shield would be more important as the OEM grill slats protect that much more than the wide open mesh.

At any rate, nice look!

Yea I agree. That looks pretty cool, and i usually don't like that style of grille.

Finally got the vehicle detailed. Might have to do a cut and polish on the next one to take out any blemishes that the clay bar / wax couldn't fill. And rock chips.. well I'm SOL. And it absolutely poured right after my vehicle was complete.. fml.

At least the interior is spotless and smells new again.

Interior turned out great, Andy. I see that even the door jams look nice and clean! Nice job! That's a pet peeve of mine.... Most people completely ignore the inside door jams when detailing a car. I on the other hand wash and wax mine almost every time I wash the car.

I've been thinking about it, but I've been having some trouble trying to look for the cheapest possible.

Everywhere I've been looking for part#: K6010-1NH7A, they're quite expensive ($400-500).
I found another OEM sport lip for much cheaper ($280-$300), but it's labeled with part#: K6010-JK27A.

Any idea what's the difference between the two parts?

I'm also digging the look of the Hyper DRLs, but cheapest set I can find is $600 Nope.

I think there was a diy here somewhere where you can make your own for a fraction of the price.

I would also like to get my brakes PC'd red, it's just inconvenient..... luckily you didn't have to park your car through the process, Andy

Wouldnt have done the mod if I had to. Definitely easier to upgrade than make changes if its your only ride. The one time I had to give the car up for a few days was when I had the new transmission installed. Luckily it was at the dealership, so I got a loaner qx50 for a few days.

Checked my spacers for the first time after about 300 miles driven. I only had 1 lug that moved slightly. Very happy about their torque overall. Gives me confidence to start spreading out my intervals, however my nerves are more calm now. I had a wheel come off my xterra (100% my fault) a year ago so I'm paranoid about wheel lug torque.

Yup. You called it! I just looked at the Stewie avatar and saw Canada and the black G and just assumed it was your post. LOL.

I guess your car is still in need of detailing, so get to it.
