Hey dude - long time. Yes I have thought about it. They sell a full blackout kit (or by the piece) for most if not all of the chrome - right down to the window surrounds. Being the old dude that I am, I grew up with chrome so I don't mind factory chrome. I would never add any, but chrome on a black car is awesome in my book. Cheers!!!

This. I think it's a more balanced design consideration. A pearl-necklace delete mod, if you will.

Yeah, I meant with the supercharger. But to be honest I couldn't have told you it was the LS3 in the current one, but I knew the supercharger would be the big change.

And that chrome delete does look good John. And I don't mind the chrome on the G as much as some people here, either (but the more pictures I see of black Gs with it done, the more I think about it).

Tony, I had my first opportunity to drive a Chevy SS 6MT a few days ago. Granted, it was modified with long-tube headers, but still... what a freaking rocket! And all kinds of fun, but still a full-sized vehicle. Comfortable, high-tech, and just a fantastic car. It didn't feel upscale, but it doesn't need to.

Anyway, I remembered your thread here, and felt like a good recent opinion to share.

Well done on your choice. This is not my next car, however if something untoward happens to my G, the SS it at the top of my list as the what-if car.
