These are the first pictures that I'll be posting, and they are crappy cell phone shots but they'll do for now. I bought my wife an awesome camera so I'll have her take some nice shots as I progress with more mods.

I just got my 6MT sedan a couple weeks ago, and the first thing I wanted to do was add the front chin spoiler. I figured while the bumper was off I would address the chrome grill. I went back and forth on all black, black with chrome emblem, chrome border, etc. I finally came across this thread and Rochester's grill was just singing to me lol. My car was in the shop at the time, so I had them color match the border in white. The inside is a matte black, and I had them paint the two horizontal pieces in the same matte black. Hard to tell in these pictures but it looks awesome.

I'm considering the Autokits X rear diffuser in the same matte black color. Either that or the vinyl but something about the vinyl doesn't look "complete" to me. Tomorrow I'm off to the vinyl shop though for clear bra and gloss black vinyl trim around my windows.

I know that feeling. When I first saw that look here on the forum, I printed it on photo paper and set it next to my computer. It taunted me for about half a year before I finally had it painted to match what I was wanting.

Looking fantastic, Furlow.

Thanks, man. I appreciate the idea and feedback you've given me on the wheels. I'm gonna consult with you a bit more to get a perfectly flush offset with no poke. But that's for another thread...

I suppose this is somewhat related. Upon inspecting the grill and OEM front lip, I noticed that the bumper/lip looks to be a different shade than the hood/fender and rest of the body. I also noticed this in the rear bumper. I suppose this is due to the fact that the bumper is plastic and the rest of the car is metal, so the paint shines differently. But it literally looks like a different color white. Is this normal for the white sedan?

Yes, totally normal for pearl white. And unfortunately it will become more pronounced as the paint ages. Don't sweat it.

And don't look to me for expertise on wheel fitment. Blnewt is the guy you want to listen to. I don't know jack compared to most. Just some recent and first time experience is all.

John (Rochester) has been a positive inspiration for quite a few mods on the site, nice to see more of these grills showing up as they really compliment the front of the G to perfection
Sounds like you've got some nice plans in store Furlow and you're already off to a great start.
Shoot me a PM if you have any particular wheels in mind.

My blue slate bumpers don't match the hood and the lip either. I feel like I see this often on the G's.

You'd be surprised what you can accomplish with intimidation and ridicule.

JK. Thanks, Brad.
