It's a custom fabrication, 180 customs made them, not sure if they still do.
There's been a few guys that have used bondo to continue the grill slats in the area where the emblem goes, some look good others

AFAIK, that amber eyelid effect is a 180 thing. There are a lot of them out there, and they all look excellent. Wish mine were painted by OneEighty.

Maybe someday. You know all about someday, right Mike?

I wish every day were someday.

One Eighty does a great job modifying your grill to an emblemless grill but like everything else they do its gonna cost you a pretty penny. Last time I was quoted close to $500.

I made one myself out of bondo and fiber glass its super easy actually I ll put up some pix when I get home

I took a soda can for the mold for the bondo on the gaps and then filled it in. then sanded it down and put more bondo then sanded it again. then used some fiber glass to strengthen it and made sure it would stay in the gaps. then painted it over

Mine, OEM grille but customized by me
This can easily be done with the newer 2010+ grille

I got mine painted gloss black, and while I'm happy with it, I think the grill blends in with the rest of the car's color a bit too much.

Really diggin what VTsG35S did, and if I had MW paint, I'd definitely go with what Rochester did. Both of yall's look great!

Your grill looks awesome, and that is the exact front bumper I was looking to get for my stock 2009 G37x sedan. Are you happy with it and how was the fit? I have seen a few pictures of billet grills and honestly do not care for the look. But your homemade mesh grill looks sweet on your car. I would like to know where you bought your mesh from and any info on how you made it. Thanks.

Plastidipped my grille this morning. It was my first encounter with plastidip and I don't think it turned out half bad.
