I would have left the Mt. Fuji chrome .... good job though. Did you remove the grill or mask things off? Going to do my M this weekend.

I took everything off. The emblem isnt as glossy as I want it to (the glossifier made it pinkish) so I might just paint it over the plastidip with the same color as my car.

howd you take off the grill, was it hard? I'm thinking of doing this but leaving the grill on and putting cardboard behind it

I did this to mine last week. Basically there's a shield blocking access the the grille over the radiator, it's black in the front of the engine bay when you open the hood. Remove all the bolts from the back of that and the clips from the front. Then there's about 5 screws on the back of the grille, corners and one in the middle. Then you have to just work it out and it'll pop off.

Nice!
I am thinking plastidip is the way to go. I am not a fan of chrome nor the midnight black chrome trim.

Plastidippin this weekend ... Bye bye chrome spoiler lip

I'm going to plastidip my ugly chrome spoiler lip this weekend. I really want an OEM one with the LED bars. Also since I have the 08 Journey Coupe it doesn't have fogs which is driving me crazy so I'm trying to find which LEDs in which I may I get the sequential ones or just some wire some LEDs as DRLs, not quite sure what I like best yet. So many things I want to do to my car! Haha
So far I've only added the Diode Dynamics LED module, Removed INFINITI and G37 badges, replaced stock rims and replaced with 20" Concept One CSM001 black machined/alloy rims and replaced tan with new black OEM doormats. Since I'm approaching 82k miles it's about time to consider replacing the brakes proactively in which I've also been looking at.

I don't have the larger brakes like the Sports and since I purchased the wrong size offsets on rims I'm not quite sure my brake options yet. Offset Offsets... 38 front&rear. Staggered RWD (20" x 8.5' front & 20" x 10" rear)

I have unused spacers in my garage but I gotta get rid of that chrome trunk lip before worrying about all that! I hate it..... And the chrome grille also has got to go, but I may leave the grille alone for awhile or I may just say F it and plastidip it this weekend also. The good thing about Plastidip is u can remove it easily!

Its nice not having a car payment.

Oh, I wanted to ask... Do I even bother with the Deglossifier? My coupe is Obsidian Black w/ tan interior.

Also alot of the stuff on the internet that is afternarket says starts at 2009. Why do they leave out 2008 Journey coupes on the majority of fitment guides for each product? Specifically seen this occur on OEM and also non OEM products, for example: headlights, taillights, trunks, grilles, spoilers, and front bumpers.

After several attempts the trunk lip sprayed w plastidipped looked blotchy so now I'm back to chrome. So searching for an OEM spoiler and wow that's a headache figuring out the proper one. Lol
