The problem with the 2007-2009 G sedan grille, is that the side grille trim is very thin and you cannot really hide the junction point of the mesh and the trim. make sense? The 2010+ would look so much better with the type of mesh because that new grille has a beautiful soild thick trim.
Thankfully I have a 2010 is there a way to retain the stock emblem mouthing system when gutting the grill? I don't have my spare yet so these are just thoughts.

Was looking at the 2010+ grille, don't think it would be easy to cut out the slats, esp the bottom one since it's pretty much molded to the lower trim. The sides also look pretty tricky, but would be interested to see what you come up with

STownSaint, that looks fantastic. I am usually not a fan of all black, but with the chrome Inifiniti logo, it works very well on your car.

I finally got my front lip installed this weekend, and was able to get the car cleaned up a little bit.

Which grill should I keep? Extra info about car appearance: Tinted windows, black window/door trim, and gunmetal rims.

1st is Midnight grill

2nd is Painted Gloss Black

Cheers for the help deciding!

I'd go all black since you're already well on your way w/ the trim. I think it depends if you keep the headlights stock, if so the midnight goes just fine. But nice work on the all black grill, looks like a quality job.

I would usually vote midnight but in this case I have to go with the all black. Have you debadging the rear to leave only the fugi symbol? I dunno seems like the all ack would jell that way bettr w front n rear

I'm gonna have to steal this idea from you, Rochester. Man, whenever I'm not sure of a mod, I'm just gonna copy you lol. Great look all around.

Thanks, Furlow. As disclaimed, this is not my original idea, but I like the compliments anyway.

I think all 2010+ G37 Sedans look amazing with this design on their grille, all colors, not just MW.

John, I wouldn't agree 100%, but 99% on that note.
I think an OB will look better with the chrome trim if the rest of the vehicle's trim isn't blacked out.

Like mine with the Midnight grille for example.
