Sedan Chat Thread
A few months back I had my g25x, my mom a q70l and my dad had an fx45 and his g37xs. They were all at least debadged sitting in the driveway. He let his G go, but for a while it looked like a custom Infiniti dealership haha.
Just doesn't make sense to me, although it probably does to you. So how does that work?
To each his own, but I think the CF solution would look better than a sea of oranges.
I'm going to ask this out of curiosity, so try not to be offended. If you had familiarity with the powertrains in a Q70, a FX45 and a G37xS, then why in the world did you go and purchase a G25x?

Or wanted a G for the style, interior and improved gas mileage over the 3.7

It is a rare bird around here but probably more common out in the real world
No clue but I do recall the one time I got a 25 as a loaner.....started driving and thought there was something wrong with the car. Got back to work and saw it was a 25. No offense...but I thought it was a complete waste of money and time. It was like driving the worlds slowest G, but to each their own
^^I would somewhat agree, but it isn't like the g25 is just a yugo or something, just not as fast as the 3.7 and a few others out there.... Not sure on that decision, but i had a 2010 maxima sv with tech/prem, pretty much everything(except sport) great car, but i always like the look of the g37 and still do, so I may have pulled the trigger on a g25 if funding etc was an issue and or if HP was not. I saw one today on the highway, it had 19's or 20's and spacers, looked nice, until i saw the badge and then thought ...why...???but then , back to my initial thought...oh well...life goes on
Check out Japan Auction Parts if you want CF. I think there's still a group buy for the dogfighter rad cover and there's usually a TK engine cover floating around. $$$$ tho
Hey everyone! I already created a separate post, but I wanted to include here for any feedback before I pick up my parts today.
I've searched through the forum and was unable to come up with anyone who has Hydrodipped any parts in the engine bay. I'm contemplating on doing my engine, radiator, battery, and brake fluid covers. I was able to come up with Brad's post when he hydrodipped his grill and front chin spoiler, and the results looked good.
More than likely I am going to Hydrodip the parts in a CF weave. Reason being is because I am picking up my Stillen Gen3's from the PC today, and I have not been able to find a shop that can paint match the covers to the color I did my intakes. The PC color is Illusion Copper 2, my car color is Graphite Shadow, I think this will compliment each other well.
I wanted to know how well has it held up so far in regards to the heat? Has any fading or cracking occurred? Would you recommend it?
This is obviously a much more economic approach to having them wrap in real CF. As we all know to source all of those parts already wrapped is nearly impossible.
All feedback is appreciated! Thank in advance.

I went with the 25 to save money for insurance purposes
When I was 16 like a week after I got my license, I lost it for speeding. I was going way over and the officer claimed I tried to evade, in reality I just burned past and didn't see him, but it ended up being this big deal that I had to take to court because the officer said they should take my license till 18 as I wasn't ready to drive and a bunch of other stuff. That didn't happen but one of the end results of it all is no one wanted to insure me for a 37 with a realistic rate. The 25 is literally 1/2 as much a year.... So long story short no reason to get a 25 move along nothing to see here it's all my fault there's a reason you barely see them

But on a serious note, I still love my G, shes's my baby. I've always been set on getting one ever since my dad got a coupe, he raised me to love Infinitis, haha, we also used to have a QX4 and an M. So I was preeeeetty lucky that the 25 exists or I woulda been SOL
EDIT:
Coolest G25 is also a much easier title to assume, which is a plus

Insurance?
I never would have thought that. So... you debadge, tint, rims, drop, call it a G (rightly so) and all is right with the world. I get that.
Good post, Roxx.

So if anyone else ever knows someone in this type of stituation spread the word
I was working on the car today, pulling out the fog light assemblies, cleaning everything and re-installing with those black fog trims that I had custom painted in January. While the car was up on ramps, I couldn't help but test-fit the Vert Cradle Braces. I believe this is a direct bolt-on to the Sedan, everything lines up. At this point, I'm like 99% sure of things, leaving 1% for the actual install. And it doesn't look like there are any added clearance issues. Looks like a "go".

So, I think I brought this up before but its bugging me a bit so I thought I'd broach the subject a bit more. Whenever my car is running there is a loud hissing noise (not my exhaust) which almost sounds like air is escaping from somewhere )or like a loud refrigerator). It's coming directly from my gas tank area and infinit says that is what the evap system sounds like. I think no way in hell it should be that loud so I'm just wondering, anybody know the sound I am talking about?

Ditto what Brad said!
I'll probably jump on this one too.
Really? Is it at idle or do you hear it when you're cruising as well?
