I'll probably start a Sedan thread after the install, so the RWD Sedan crew has a reference.

I hear it only at idle but thats probably because my exhaust drowns it out. It really is pronounced when sitting still and I'm willing to bet its not normal.

I'm just starting to see them popping up in Instagram and stuff being called "2015 gtr style tails" a lot of people who do the retrofit also paint the housing black like on the front light which makes the tails appear more maroon in the day than the standard fire truck red. Was thinking about getting these installed some point this summer, if I do pics and vids will follow...

My brakes have been squealing terribly for weeks. Last weekend, I popped the front pads, cleaned everything up, put some grease on the backing plates, took the car out and bedded in the pads. Brakes still squealed.

Yesterday I checked the rear pads. I only removed the driver side, because as soon as I pulled them out I saw the problem--I was down to the wear indicator

So, 25K out of the optional R-Spec pads. I'm debating just getting another set of the NISMO pads, and I'm torn on if I should just replace the fronts and bleed the brakes while I'm at it.

How did the front pads look? If you get a different pad brand/model in back I think I'd match the fronts too, and if it's been 25k since a complete fluid flush I'd just replace w/ all new fluid too rather than just a bleed.

I had my car inspected a couple of weeks ago, and the tech told me I had plenty of life left in my rear pads, which are originals at 22K miles. From that point of view, it seems the R-Spec pads of yours are short lived.

That's just it, the fronts were down pretty far too, but not to the wear indicators. I figured they had some life left though.

I've already bleed the brakes once. I have 2 unopened bottles of Motul RBF600. I'll probably put 1.5 into my Motive Power Bleeder and flush that amount through.

I guess if I'm going to do rears and fluid, for ~$100 more I should just do the fronts too

I'd kinda expect the more aggressive pad would have a shorter life. I'm OK with 25K out of pads

Yep, I have them. Mine was the first set of JDM tails to be done that way as far as I know. If you want the amber turns you'll need to pick up a set of JDM tails more than likely. You could try to just swap the bulb but the color of the lens is a little darker and mutes it IMO.

I was planning to swap the bulb but also do an LED ring around it. I don't know if it'll be amber but as long as it has contrast with the other lights I'm ok. Could you message me how much it cost you, if you don't mind? Thank
