That has not been my experience going from Sport 18's to the wider 19" Vossens.

Thanks!

FRONTS
Vossen CVT 19x8.5" +32
Michelin PSS 245/40ZR19
3mm wheel spacers, effectively changing the front offset to +29

REARS
Vossen CVT 19x10.0" +42,
Michelin PSS 275/35ZR19

After the drop, the rears pulled to an acceptable poke of no more than 2-3mm, depending on your POV. Prior to the drop, they looked ridiculous. And unfortunately, RWD Swift Springs drop the rear of the sedan too much, IMO. It could stand to come back up 1/2". When aligned, the rears were measured out of spec at -2.1* and -2.2* camber.

Also after the drop, the fronts pulled in with just a little too much tuck. I offset that fitment with 3mm spacers. I could probably use 5mm to be more even with the rears, but that would require new studs. However, as I said, the rears poke a couple mm, so the front fitment right now is perfectly flush to the fender. Absolutely perfect, IMO.

If I had to reason based on this experience, I'd say when using 19" rims with RWD Swift Springs on the G37 Sedan, go with a +29 offset on the front, and a +45 in the rear. Unfortunately, VOSSEN doesn't give you options to that level of detail. They keep offset options to a minimum, for obvious inventory reasons.

Going w/ 19s won't make your G sit any higher, whenever you go up in rim size you go to a lower series sidewall to keep the rolling diameter the same, so your 245/45/18 will translate to a 245/40/19 w/ the bigger rims. Hope that makes sense. If you keep the 45 series your diameter will be too tall and may cause issues w/ your traction control, ABS and speedometer.

Thank you, mucho appreciated! Yes, many people have said that the tailights somehow remind them of the Q50 tailights at some point, definitely different I guess, I could see what you're talking about the white glare you see all around the car is a flash light we were messing around with running around the car LOL thanks again

Has anyone found a solution to the rear seat belts slapping against the seats when all of the windows are down? I've noticed this in both of my G's and it's starting to get annoying since its really nice out and I'd like to ride with my windows down.

I never ever ride with the backdoor windows down. There's a resonance frequency in the air flow that's unbearable in that situation. Not sure how you can deal with it. Makes me feel like my head is going to explode.

I usually have the sunroof all the way open too and that seems to help. I usually only ride with all windows open, less wind in my face than if I ride with only the fronts open, or all windows cracked about 2 inches and the sunroof tilted.

I keep the right rear door window slightly open (about an inch) and tilt the sunroof for an amazing breeze that only hits the drivers area. That's my solution if the front passenger doesn't want the window open.

2 car seats keep them in place, and you can buckle the center belt and tie a toy/mirror to it

The instrument panel tells me my keyless entry fob thing needs a battery. I assume its like changing a watch battery, but I haven't looked at the manual yet. I'm also assuming its much like a low fuel light and I have some time.

I usually ride with either just fronts open when it's around town or up to speeds of 40-50mph max anything above (depending on the weather) I either use A/C or crack rear windows an inch or two and tilt the sunroof or open it all the way and enjoy a nice breeze

I believe it only happens when you open one of the rear windows or maybe even two but when the fronts are up, but tilting or opening the sunroof all the way also fixes the issue..

I know it's my G and all, but damn those wheels look right on this car.

John, I just have to say that your car represents all that is right about the G sedan. Clean, tasteful mods and an absolutely perfect ride height. Well done, Sir!

BTW, I just realized you have a lip spoiler and it just looks good on the sedan. Some cars I feel absolutely need a spoiler- the G35 coupe was one of them but the G sedan can go either way but the lip spoiler definitely adds to the classy look.

Yes, only happens with the rears slightly down for me and it's like a wave of 25 Hz high pressure waves of sound.

Is there a thread on your tail lights?

A question for the group. Has anyone tried to put an M56 motor in a G? Is there an engine swap thread that I possibly didn't see during my search. I'm Asking because I'm considering doing it.

I've been wondering the same thing. I doubt any one here has done it, but it would be a cool project though.
