With all due respect Aroundtheg37, a lot of us are kind of getting tired of reading you complain about the hiss. If it's really that bad then do something about it. If you can't afford to buy another exhaust part then put your oem cbe back on till you can afford to get it fixed. Seriously. It seems like every post I read from you is you complaining about the hiss. I understand it's annoying. Belive me I have problems with my own exhaust. I've posted about it and no one knows how to fix it so I've moved on to finding my own solution. I'm asking politely to move on to another subject, both you and Mike. I've said my peace and will not say anything else about it.
With all due respect 11G37S I'm really getting tired of members like you berating me for just trying to help out the community. All I'm doing is talking about and explaining experiences I've gone through, good or bad (you know, one of the reasons car forums like this exist.......) rather than be a dk to people. If you don't want me talking about the exhaust hiss then it's simple, don't reply. Besides, the only reason I chimed in is because someone asked about buying the exact setup as I have so don't you think it's prudent that the guy get all the info he can before he makes such a timely and somewhat costly purchase? Also, it's not about just being able to afford another exhaust because trust me chief, no problem there (the wife is another story though...... ). My dilemma is I waited months for this setup (just like a lot of other people) because I expected little to no problems with something that was somewhat custom. I guess I was wrong. Maybe I will have to chuck it but right now that's not a priority (brakes and fluid just swapped out, next rotors). Now I'm thinking about coilovers so the maraca sound is going to have to stay for a little while longer.

One man's trash is another man's treasure.

I'm glad I went a different route and got the MXP catback, all in all I am very satisfied with the way it sounds, it is a somewhat uncommon exhaust for our sedans comparing to FI, it used to be more common, and I didn't have to wait 3 months for it.

None taken, Mike. It's mostly a compliment.

BTW, the hiss he goes on about ad nauseam is quite real, and according to a video he shared with me, it's very noticeable in his car. But while I recognize the issue, and sympathize with his dilemma, it only matters to him. At least, to the degree it seems to matter to him.

Dude, that's because all your contemptuous negativity is a real downer on the forum. Please chill out, stop all your whining, and make some friends. You're getting to be like how WannabeSport ended up, just b1tch b1tch b1tch all the time about the car and the modifications that everybody else loves. Nobody likes that, man.

And don't reflect it back on me like you always do with inaccurate pot-kettle disdain. That's a cop-out. Just suck it up and leave the ego out of the conversation... or walk away. Either one. Everybody here is good people, and you're welcome to be part of that.

Please stop, at least in this thread.

Thank you John, I wasn't sure if I was the only one who didn't like his contemptuous negativity. Hate to compare people but that is a good comparison. With all due respect AroundTheG37, like John said, you need to chill out and take it easy. Have a good day

Just because I have referenced your bigotry a couple times in past convos doesn't mean I have to stop talking about it.

As for the exhaust, I have no plans to keep on ranting about it but if someone asks about experience with the exhaust that I have you better believe I'm going to chime in (because I wish someone would have done the same for me).

With that said, you all seem like a good bunch of dudes (book is still out on Rochester.......) so don't think I have any problems with you. As with anything though the more you spend time with someone the more they can start to wear on you. Either way, consider the convo dropped so let's move on to more important things like cold ***** for our stereo.....

I hear that. Very seriously considering putting my hacked-up OEM **** back on the car for winter.

Or buying a glove. Just one, LOL.

That looks like an interesting mod, but I will be too afraid to actually trust someone to do it.
Can you use an OEM Infiniti key fob?

My theory is this, if it didn't come from the factory, neither will I get one installed, I have worked at dealerships and have seen very weird things happening with cars that had aftermarket remote starts installed, like for example windshield wipers operating, when there was no key in the ignition at the time and the techs at some point didn't know what to do. IDK what happened later.

So as much as it might be the best thing ever to have a remote start, I wouldn't get one, for that reason and also that it's quite more challenging and difficult to get it installed on a 6MT.

I pray that nothing crazy happens to my electronics, but its backed by a life time warranty and I watched the guy do it. no corners were cut. it made me feel better that the guy who was doing the install also owned a G and did the same install on his and he hasn't had any problems yet either

or you could just put a sock on your shift **** if you don't want a glove
