my biggest question is do you think i could put a q50 or q60 dash in and center console in and just add the seat heaters switch in the console center the nav screen is the same but the radio is different do anyone know of any major problems ill run across and if so how do i fix it

Had a chance to open up my mom's stock rwd vert today. It seems slower than my awd sedan. Both are stock, vert a 13 mine an 11. Are they heavier than an awd sedan? Really lacked that 3-6k punch I'm used to. Top was down also, maybe some added air resistance?

Yeah, verts are the heaviest of the G cars by a couple hundred pounds IIRC.

The IPL Vert, making 348 hp is the slowest of the G lineup. over 4000 lbs. The coupe is the second heaviest, and the sedan is the lightest. You'd think it was the other way around.

The AT Vert is a sled. But the 6MT Vert has short rear gears... shorter than the 6MT Coupe or Sedan. It makes up for the added 400 pounds.

I was pretty sure it was weight that made it feel slower. It did feel a bit tighter as I expected in contrast to my 4x4 AWD suspension. The visibility in the vert was amazing, obviously. Not something I ever thought about, however.

Resonated or Not is the question. Someone care to tell me what the difference is besides the architecture of the parts?

I am looking for a pair myself. I have been entertaining the idea of buying Fast Intentions HFCs. I saw a few different brands on z1motorsports.com Best of luck to you. Be well.

I was going to PM you this, but your PM feature is disabled. You're bumping a 3 year old comment for a member who passed away a couple of years ago.

If youre talking about in the turns, the sway bars in the awd model are thin. Like super thin... There is a tremendous amount of body roll, and the car tends to understeer. I just upgraded the sways (even though everyone was telling me that should have been my first mod) and my god... its like driving a different car. With the AWD disabled, you can even kick the rear out a bit in turns with no issues, and there is virtually no body roll.

I was on the phone when typing that so it was breif, but yes I was talking about in turns and just in general. My wife said it rode a lot harder than my sedan, and I agreed. She will be in for surprise when I inevitably install Sprint springs or coils. Sway bars are certainly on my short list. There's to much praise out there for them not to be!
AWD disable...your talking about the switch that cuts the ground to the module, correct?

My kids talked me into getting them a dinner from Wendy's this weekend. I'm no fan of fast food, but occasionally... meh. Anyway, my youngest went with me, and carried most of the food and drinks. Unbeknownst to me (big words, LOL), some of her Raspberry Iced Tea must have leaked, because yesterday I discovered the passenger seat was pretty well stained. Seeing as I have a Stone Leather interior, that creamy off-white leather really showed off the purple stain, no matter how much I tried to clean it. Believe me, I was pretty freaking miserable about it. Didn't say a word to the kid... it was ultimately my fault for allowing the drink in the car, and she probably didn't even know.

So this morning I did some research, and tried going over the stain with toothpaste, and old toothbrush. It didn't come off right away, but with some persistence it did finally all come out. 100% too, not even a hint of purple.

Toothpaste. Go figure.

You'd be surprised what a little bit of windex and toothpaste can clean up. I use this mixture on any light colored leather and cleans right up! I use it mostly on sneakers, but when I had a tan interior on my TSX I would use this for the door panels since my Ex girlfriend and her family getting in and out of the car assumed it was good to push the door with your feet. (Hence why she's an Ex)

I have an old coffee stain in the passenger side foot area. Weathertech mat covers it, but I wander if tooth paste will get it out. It has been there long before I got the car, so might be a lost cause.
