hey someone please help im buying a g37 vert i really want a vert but stupid as infiniti stopped the verts on the q60 so i want to buy a g37 and turn it into a q60 i will put the q60 front end parts on and for the rear do some welding for the right and left fenders by cutting mine at 35% from the top to get the big body and deep lines . i will put the twin stock q60 turbos and maybe bore it to a 4.2l in the near future my biggest concern is the dash i want that sh**** gone. how stupid of them to keep the same dash for almost 10^years.
my biggest question is do you think i could put a q50 or q60 dash in and center console in and just add the seat heaters switch in the console center the nav screen is the same but the radio is different do anyone know of any major problems ill run across and if so how do i fix it

Yup its classed as a motorcycle here.
Had a chance to open up my mom's stock rwd vert today. It seems slower than my awd sedan. Both are stock, vert a 13 mine an 11. Are they heavier than an awd sedan? Really lacked that 3-6k punch I'm used to. Top was down also, maybe some added air resistance?
Yeah, verts are the heaviest of the G cars by a couple hundred pounds IIRC.
After the break in period of a few 100 miles with the Tanabe I am impressed with the exhaust signature. It's not annoyingly loud but its definately there after 2500. (It HOWLS)
I just wish I would have installed the cans first before the K&N intake. They're even louder! Anyways, from what I've read so far fast intentions HFC's are the way to go.
Resonated or Not is the question. Someone care to tell me what the difference is besides the architecture of the parts?

I am looking for a pair myself. I have been entertaining the idea of buying Fast Intentions HFCs. I saw a few different brands on z1motorsports.com Best of luck to you. Be well.
I was going to PM you this, but your PM feature is disabled. You're bumping a 3 year old comment for a member who passed away a couple of years ago.
If youre talking about in the turns, the sway bars in the awd model are thin. Like super thin... There is a tremendous amount of body roll, and the car tends to understeer. I just upgraded the sways (even though everyone was telling me that should have been my first mod) and my god... its like driving a different car. With the AWD disabled, you can even kick the rear out a bit in turns with no issues, and there is virtually no body roll.

I was on the phone when typing that so it was breif, but yes I was talking about in turns and just in general. My wife said it rode a lot harder than my sedan, and I agreed. She will be in for surprise when I inevitably install Sprint springs or coils. Sway bars are certainly on my short list. There's to much praise out there for them not to be!
AWD disable...your talking about the switch that cuts the ground to the module, correct?
My kids talked me into getting them a dinner from Wendy's this weekend. I'm no fan of fast food, but occasionally... meh. Anyway, my youngest went with me, and carried most of the food and drinks. Unbeknownst to me (big words, LOL), some of her Raspberry Iced Tea must have leaked, because yesterday I discovered the passenger seat was pretty well stained. Seeing as I have a Stone Leather interior, that creamy off-white leather really showed off the purple stain, no matter how much I tried to clean it. Believe me, I was pretty freaking miserable about it. Didn't say a word to the kid... it was ultimately my fault for allowing the drink in the car, and she probably didn't even know.
So this morning I did some research, and tried going over the stain with toothpaste, and old toothbrush. It didn't come off right away, but with some persistence it did finally all come out. 100% too, not even a hint of purple.
Toothpaste.
Go figure.
