High Pitched Whine/Squeal/Whistle under heavy acceleration!

So my brand new g37s with 900 miles on it thus far makes a really loud Whistle/Squeal under heavy acceleration when im nearing redline (about 1500 to 1000 rpm away)

I was told by a friend that its probably an intake plenum, but hes a chevy guy, so I figured I would ask you fine lads and ladies if you knew what the real deal was.

Thanks in advance for your responses and help

Well that's good to know, I wasnt sure if it was because I've started getting raunchy with the throttle before the break in was completed.

My car and all loaners do this... Doubt it's something to worry about.

PS - You shouldn't know what your car sounds like at redline with 900 on the ODO. Tsk tsk.

Hahaha well, I took the break in real easy up to 800 miles. Did an early oil change and figured of its not broken in by 900 good miles, there's not much more 300 miles is gonna do, feel me?

It's from the intake, floor it with DS you'll hear them all the time. Love it!

Do you have an aftermarket intake? I thought my Z06 had a belt slipping after I put a Halltech CAI on it, though it turned out to be a whistle from air moving thought the throttle body: The sound was always there, but the stock air box muffled it.
