Ok...uh. thanks but I thin I may not have made my question specific enough. I am not asking for traction. I am asking if anyone knows what size tires they are running with different width wheels on a g37xS sedan. For example if you ran 8.5 or 9x19's in the front but were running 10x19" back wheels. Because if you are running such a setup like running 370z or IPL coupe rims there's always been a negative impact on your drive train or sometimes your ecu will not work properly and eliminated your anti-lock brakes because if you fail to accountil for the tires circumference, (or number of rotations per mile as its most accurately measured and listed on most tire companies list of specs.) you could end having issues. This was a bigger problem on 03-06 g35x's but as most g37x and g37x's have a link between the front and rear drives and it's even possible to disconnect the front wheels all together if you felt like it. But all I am trying to find out if anyone with either a g37x or G37xS like mine has already figured that out and found a pair of tires to run on 8.5×19's on on axle while running 10×19's on has taken those possible issues in mind and found the correct with to side wall ratio for themselves yet. Thanks for the clarity, that said, the staggered X setups that are being run seem to perform without issues if the F&R diameter variance is less than 1%. Issues have been reported at speeds over 80mph when the variance exceeds 1%.
The 19" tire combos that meet the criteria that use a standard mount (not stretched or pinched) would be 235/40/19 & 275/35/19 (rear 0.67% larger)
245/40/19 & 285/35/19 (rear 0.51% larger)
255/40/19 & 295/35/19 (rear 0.36% larger)
Always best to have the rears slightly larger than the front since they wear faster, and the diameter variance will decrease over time, compared to having bigger front tires where the variance will increase w/ time.
And like you mentioned, if you can use the tire manufacturers "Revolutions per mile" data this will be even better to get the exact variance you'll be dealing with.

 

blnewt always has good info on this. Helped me with mine! I cant understand how anyone with a X HELL even RWD with the auto can smoke their tires without sitting in a puddle LOL I have NEVER broke mine loose like like on dry ground. The only times when was I had my SC , An you smoked all the way till 3rd, You either had bald azz tires or every G37X I have owned SUX'd. LOL

BTW I am running 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 and no issues with the AWD light and have been 130 MPH plus no light

 

Was able to score a super sweet deal for these wheels..300 with tires cant wait to go pick them up

 

Thanks, bpnewt. That's what I was looking for. I have not decided what rims I am going with because on my 2 g35x sedan's I have always gone an inch up but also chose my rims based on rotational mass and got lighter wheels and tires that met all those specs by keeping the rims the same width. But they didn't have as much power or the ability to spin the rear so much that the ecu couldn't keep up and just dropped the fwd. Of course thar sends the ecu into the rwd only mode that's mentioned in the earlier post about the sensor behind the glove box. So I am looking make the rears wider too. Thanks again

 

Hey I have a 2010 g37 awd sport sedan I'm wondering what sizes are those stocks that U picked up ? Should I go 19 x 8.5 front all around or 19 x 9 all around I know 19 x9 looks better but I'm not sure if it fits anyone please help

 

Either will fit just fine, you can get more of a flush fit w/ the 9" and a bit wider tires all around like 255s.

 

I have 19x9, fronts are off a coupe rears and rears are off a vert rear set. 25mm front spacers and 20mm rear spacers:

I have a swift lowered X sedan on 19x8.5 w/ 47 offset & 245/40 tires and have decided on same spacer setup as you - 25mm front and 20mm rear... do you have any issues with rubbing? Are you running H&R DRM or DRS spacers? Any concerns with the spacers so far?

I was thinking of going with 255/40 when I get new tires since the spacers should give extra space to fit them...

 

No rubbing whatsoever in the 3.5 months I've had them on so far.. tire specs are 245/45. I'm running H&R DRM spacers with no issues

 

^can you please post more pics for your car with 245/45 tires? Curious to see how the higher-walled tires suit the coupe wheel

Bought my set with the same size tire (all around), so I' planning to get a few seasons out of them before I replace them.

Hey guys!
I recently got myself some coupe 19's. I managed to get a pretty good deal and traded my 18's for the coupe 19's. Is it normal for the rear wheels to poke out a bit (I'll take a picture after the blizzard hits) ? The tires are 245/40/19 all around. Also after 2 days of driving, the TPM light came on and instead of coming on normally, it flashes and then stays solid. I checked the PSI and I have it at 35PSI all around. Any solutions?

That means the tpm sensors are not being detected. I don't run them on my winter set and it does that. You may not have any in those wheels or you are using tpm sensors that are not compatible for your year, if I recall, the 09 and earlier sensors do not work on 10+ and vice versa.
