Q60 Final Teaser - Revealed in Detroit
I doubt it. Have you ever noticed that a lot of car spy shots are often not seen until a couple of months or a few weeks before the official reveal? Detroit is only about 6 weeks out so these shots stir buzz (like this thread) in advance of the product reveal in those that are interested in such things. I don't think it's all that damaging. I think it's free publicity. Kind of like the Q50 shots that were "accidentally" posed on the Canadian Infiniti website for an hour or so then quickly taken down. But not before they were screen captured in all their hi res glory and shown to the world on this very forum. I think this is as accidental as a "leaked" Kim Kardashian sex tape.
Ok, it just might be time to ax the extra two doors...
Oh my....
Stunning 2017 Infiniti Q60 Caught Uncovered - Motor Trend
Twin turbo V-6.
The production model looks even better than the protos!
I might have to say good by to the extra doors.
Poor man's GTR.

I agree and have mentioned this in a few other posts myself; it just does't look proportional to me.
However, those thin horizontal lights both front and rear seem to be a styling cue used on most new cars. To be honest, it may be one of those things we look back on 10 years from now and say "that looks very 2015ish". That's why I believe the outgoing design (gen1-3), while somewhat long in the tooth, will remain a classic. Simple things tend not to excite people as much when they are introduced, but end up destined to become classics.
For now, I can look past the questionable rear and admire the rest of the car.
Keep your fingers crossed that Infiniti does not enter the reliability trap that normally accompanies the move to a turbo from NA. Again, while not almost the most efficient/sexy, simple is undeniably the most reliable approach.

They are.
It will be available next year starting in February. Why do you think the 2016's are not displayed on the website. :-D
Its currently called "Q50 H.O" (High Output) on dealer salesmen sheets.
There will be two versions. a 300HP one and a 400HP model.
The 400HP will be available in Iridium Blue.
You can literally call up your dealer and place an order for one right now, although there is no price set currently.

This is a bit confusing since the Coupe's HP was mentioned as 375, so I cannot imagine the sedan would exceed the coupe? Also, the Coupe is slated for 2017. Would they bring the new powertrain to market on the sedan first? This would seemingly deflate any sense of marketing advantage for the Coupe, which is more of a flagship brand (and premium price point) for Infiniti as compared to the more utilitarian sedan. Just thinking aloud. Their marketing group has made alot of poor decisions in the past.
It does however seem that if you throw a "twin-turbo" into the car, you need to at least be at 400hp to justify the complexity/expense.
Our current NA models can do 330hp without blinking an eye. 375hp does not seem as much of a jump as compared to 400.
0-60 times in the mid to low 4s and at least 20mpg? Utopia :-)

Both coupe and sedan will have the same engine choices. I guess since the engines are ready for implant, the car that sells the most (Q50 Sedan) gets it first.
Best believe the "mid-tier" 300HP 3.0L TT V6 model will smoke the current 3.7L V6.
My next car is 5 to 6 years out, but this is still on the list. Assuming there's a 6MT available. If not, this car is dead to me, LOL.
