i cant really even tell the difference with the G37 sport mode - i guess it holds the gear a little longer.
the Evo's Normal/Sport/Super-Sport make it like having 3 different cars. Super-Sport is ridiculous.

There is a company who integrates into the PASM adjustable suspension in a Porsche. It may have been Bilstein for their PSS coilovers, I don't recall. But it played nicely with the electronics. There was also a company that recalibrated the normal/sport modes for stock Cayman S suspensions w/PASM. I don't know how it worked, whether it was a piggyback or a reflash, but it also integrated into the adjustable suspension. It's a shame there aren't more of those companies running around. They probably only exist for expensive cars, because they now they can charge an arm and a leg for it to recoup their development money. I doubt it if there is a big enough suspension aftermarket in the Infiniti world to justify the R&D for something like this.

Exactly. They exist where there's a market that will pay them enough money to make it worth their while. Both new and used Porsche owners are willing to shell out cash for this. Think about the Infiniti market. There would only be a tiny percentage of new Infiniti owners who would ever even consider this. And as far as the used market, 3 people would pay for it, most wouldn't know or care that this type of tuning existed, and all the rest would just bitch about how expensive it is and complain that the car should have come that way from the factory or that it should cost $275.

CHICAGO – Infiniti today revealed the full lineup of new advanced engines for its Infiniti Q50 sports sedan at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show, including 300-horsepower and 400-horsepower versions of the advanced 3.0-liter V6 twin turbo engines and a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine. The three new engine-equipped Q50 models – designated the Q50 2.0t, Q50 3.0t and Q50 Red Sport 400 – are on display at the country's oldest and best-attended auto show, along with the 2016 QX60 crossover and the all-new QX30 premium active crossover. It is the first time all of these new models have appeared together.
"We are completely transforming the Infiniti model lineup this year with all-new models like the QX30 and Q60 sports coupe, major makeovers such as the QX60, and cutting-edge powerplants like the Q50's three all-new turbocharged engines," said Tony Gardina, regional vice president, Infiniti North, Infiniti USA. "We can't think of a better venue to showcase our full-scale product renaissance than the Chicago Auto Show, which attracts more than one million visitors annually."
Public days for the 2016 Chicago Auto Show, held at McCormick Place, run from Saturday, February 13 through Sunday, February 21.
The new compact, lightweight 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine is the most advanced V6 engine that Infiniti has ever offered, striking an ideal balance between drivability, efficiency, and performance. The new VR-series engine will be first available in the Q50 Red Sport 400 beginning in early spring, followed by the 300-horsepower Q50 3.0t in late spring.
The third new Q50 powerplant is a 2.0-liter turbo inline 4-cylinder, producing 208 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. Offered in conjunction with Daimler and assembled at Infiniti's engine plant in Decherd, Tennessee, this engine is available in the Q50 2.0t model in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive and goes on sale later this winter. It will be joined by a fourth Q50 powertrain choice, the Q50 Hybrid with Infiniti's proven 3.5-liter gasoline-electric hybrid system with a net 360 horsepower.

I'm stunned the Q60 isn't there, even though it's listed as a vehicle on display.

They are at the Canadian Auto Show, came across photos of the Q60 today while browsing images on the wire (photo editor). I didn't see many photos coming out of Chicago. The Autoblog photos only show the 2.0T model unfortunately.

Seems like there's something left on the table to squeeze out a little more in both of these engine configurations...

I caught that too. Bragging rights for current car and possible hint at a future more, potent version.......but its Infiniti and they might take 4 years for said version to come out.

I quickly noticed that too! IPL version please! Wouldn't take much, just tweak the engine to about 450hp/400tq and we have a winner. I am pretty sure there will be a IPL or higher version, but when is the question!

That's right about my time bracket of purchasing the new one.

LOL, I think waiting that long would be a mistake. Lexus, BMW and Merc all released their performance versions within a year or so of releasing the normal version. Hopefully, Infiniti follows this and the IPL will be released within a year.
