From different agnles many cars look similar.

BTW I love those concept photos, They should have built that instead and compete with jags...

I doubt anyone will ever mistake that car for an Accord. I can faintly see what you are talking about but its a stretch

I like that it has a much more aggresive look than the outgoing model. There are some things I'm not crazy about, but this is the pre-production model...some things may change. I really dont like are the chrome accents...grille, window trim, door handles, and side vents. Infiniti has had a habit of putting chrome in the weirdest spots...the chrome trunk spouler on the current model and now the chrome vent trim on the new model. Hopefully the sport package gets rid of some of the chrome, but very few cars are "perfect" from the factory.

This happens everytime a new model is released...some hate it, some love it, but it usually grows on most people. With some aftermarket mods I'm sure it'll look great.

Very true, no car pleases everyone. Some will like and some won't, that is why there are lots of cars for different people, so that they can move on and new ones that like it can be brought in! I love it and think it is way more aggressive and better overall package than my current G37, which I love, or others in the segment and this new one will make a great replacement for me.

I hate how right you are. Very disappointed with this. I'm glad some people are happy, but this pretty much killed any interest I had in buying an Infiniti in the future unless drastic changes are made. Oh well, so it goes.

Hopefully they get rid of the inverted Genesis swoop in the rear quarter window, and the ugly front bumper. Looks like an old gumpy man.

Still not something that makes me say, I gotta have it like the G35 coupe did.

Lets see what the Genesis has for 2017.

I think it is still too early to decide.

I agree that the design is not amazing since today even the design of toyota, nissan , honda, mazda etc is much closer to those of the luxury brands compared to 10 years ago. The difference is usually materials, details (badges, grills, extra curves on side panels, hood etc).

Maybe that's why luxury brands has to get closer to the exotic cars.

Jaguar type F or Mercedes amg gt for example two of my favourites right now, I hoped infiniti could get closer to them in terms of design.

Still it looks ok and depending on the performance and price it maybe a very good choice. If the price is high then the likes of 435i will simply leave infiniti no market share.

i highly doubt the rear window trim will change...that's common in all new infiniti models. Same thing with the style of the front grill and bumper.

I'm really curious to see what they did with the interior. I'm guessing its going to be similar to the concept and Q50 in terms of styling cues

I would expect the interior to look almost identical to the concept, as that interior looked production ready! I hope it does, as they nailed the exterior and the only thing I worry about now is the interior and hp/tq numbers.

Not sure if anyone else commented on this, but if you zoom in, you can see the the cloth on the inside of the pillars are black. Fingers crossed that that makes it to the production version and that the headliner is also black...

^^^^ that times 100. I'm tired of black interiors and tan headliners.

^ Kinda like the Lexus IS350? The black headliner does look nice.

This car is just a little off. It has smooth bubbly lines on top, and then sharp edges on the bottom.

Like a watered down version of the RC coupe. Or a G37 coupe with a boxy body kit.

not a fan of the gaping grille ... would prefer smaller.
all black, with blacked out chrome would help hide it, though. i could deal with that.
