The Q50 Eau Rouge had an M56 transmission (Jatco JR711E) . That was the 7AT they know they had to perfect to withstand 400-+ torque.... They will use that transmission in the Q50, Q60, Q70, QX70.
The DCT from Merc will only be inside the Q30/QX30, because it bolts right upto to their 2.0T .
A lot of people dont know, but a lot of the testing done on the Q50 Eau Rouge was transmission testing.

Sadly it was not at the car show. They said it was going to be introduced at the Auto Show in Detroit in January. I did get to see the Iridium Blue though, nice a$$ color...if the coupe comes in it I would get it

Not surprised as the first major car show is the Detroit show, so I expected it would be shown there first! I have yet to see the Iridium Blue in person, but it looks good in pics. I would need to see it on the coupe to judge it, but as of now, I'm leaning towards whatever dark grey color they offer. If the Iridium Blue is exclusive to the top level of the sedan, I wonder if the top of the line coupe will have a different exclusive color. Come january we will finally get to know final engine outputs and whether a DCT type will be an option.

I didnt realize that Detroit was the "first" show of the year. I always thought is was LA or NY as far as the US...ah well. As for the color, the Iridium Blue is hot. The coupe would look amazing in it. It looks like the other colors available for the new year look the same as this year...nothing special

I hope Infiniti keeps Graphite Shadow as the "standard" Grey for the car as it is the best shade they have. I feel they need a new white. The current whites have too much yellow in it. Lexus has the baddest white, they need something like that in the palette. As for Iridium blue, its probably the most proper blue Infiniti has ever offered.
We have all been talking about that for the last few pages. I think it is distorted some kind of way...the pics are not the best representation is what the con census is
The spy shots are usually taken from long range so you should expect some distortion. I think the front end will look a lot better once we see the official photos from Infiniti.

100% agree...the white on my IS350 is much nicer than the white on my old G37 coupe and my wife's current QX60. I didn't notice the difference until i parked them side by side. There's too much gold flake in the metallic paint so it gives it a yellow tone rather than the bright white of the Lexus.
