I just received my Motor Trend and they had an article on the Q60. No manual transmission, same engine, but with a optional twin turbo, and their attempting to get the same steering feel as they have on our cars with the electric system. I'm with Adrian, I'll keep my G. IMO, better looking, better handling, and much more fun rowing through the gears.

Infiniti will be dead to me, that's how fast I will lose interest.

No manual transmission? Big mistake in my opinion because there's a huge contingent of people that won't even give it a second glance. Back when Johan de Nysschen was at the helm, I remember there being murmurs about a manual transmission that would be offered. Wonder what happened to that. Probably exactly what happened to the Eau Rouge...deep sixed.

So is MT is contradicting Infiniti by saying the engine isn't going to be an all new 3.0L TT like they claimed? I'm truly getting confused. Got a link to the article online?

I read somewhere (can't remember where exactly) but the 3.0TT is supposed to be their high end engine to compete with the M, V, F Sport and ATS-V. Its might be a retouched MB 3.0TT thats expected in the MB C450 - thats my guess there.

From everything I read, its supposed to be the twin turbo 3.0 engine! If it's the same engine, then I might look somewhere else. So hopefully, it is, because I plan for this to be my next car.

Considering that every magazine and blog has a story that slightly differs, I will take what I read with a grain of salt. Unless I see official press release from Infiniti, I wont get my undies in a bunch.

I thought we would here more now that Geneva was on but I guess my speculation was wrong. I expect we will know solid Info on options, drive train and pricing no later than Tokyo Auto Show.

I'm still debating on which car to get. My Q50 lease is up in November and I won't be buying it out.

If this came with a 6mt, I would consider it.

Really not sure why Infiniti is pushing it's remote control steering on a sports car. Keep it on the Sedan. Or at least offer it on a stand alone option and not force it on us by lumping it in on the touring package.

but, i can see why they are moving towards the electronic everything. cuz of gimmicky buttons that people like to play with. such as sports mode, eco mode. etc etc.

I might just end up getting a G37S. Wonder if we can order a custom color for the limited edition? I want one in black.

I dont care if this Q60 is more beautiful than an Aston Martin DB9.

No 6MT, no care.

I don't disagree on 6MT but after having a number of cars with manual and test driving a few DCT cars, I wouldn't mind this car with a DCT. Regular old 7AT out of G37 - no thanks.

Really don't care of it has a 6MT or not, that's really not a big deal.
