Another thing that will happen is aftermarket upgraded turbos and internals being offered.

I'm excited for the people buying this car but it will have limits, e85, meth and all that will come into play to help the 1/4 times.

Any mention of LSD on this car?
+1

Typically plugs and coil packs become problematic because they are being worked harder. Comes with the modding territory.

You people are impossible. LoL

It doesn't matter, sport, non-sport, IPL, Aero kit or not its not an aggressive looking front end to me. The new model is agressive enough IMO, though it could do with less chrome

Lol , I'm not saying it's not as aggressive as the old ones. I'm just saying you're not giving the correct examples in comparing the two sport versions.

I'm with you. Some people have reservations because of the new engine and it is understandable, but I'm considering the shelf life of this coupe.

The G35 had a 5-6 year shelf life which is usually the standard. The G37 a 6-7 year shelf life - which most feel was pushing the envelope. The q50 has already been out a little over 2 years. Either way, this coupe has about a 4-5 year shelf life. We probably won't see a major refresh (engine updates, styling) until 2 years down the line. For me, 50-60 grand is a lot for a common luxury car in the last quarter of its shelf life considering the next generation is rite around the corner.

I plan on waiting a month or two to see what you fanatics have to say about the engine and then I'll jump in. However, I'll be checking out all of the reviews. If it is positively received similarly to the M35/M45, I'll look into getting it a.s.a.p

That bumper became the stock bumper for 2012 models and sports model has a new bumper the one with the weird curve in the middle. Idk wat year it started that maybe 2011. But yea 2008 that design was sports bumper minus the fog lights

No, it was offered before the IPL was ever produced. It's called the Aero kit and originally came on the 2010 anniversary edition.

The link also shows the sport bumper that comes on ALL G37 Sport coupes. The bumper you're referring to was only used from 2008-2010 on the sport, the one with fog lights like yours is now offered on the NON Sport.

Simple google search and you can find these answers.

I'm not a fan of turbos, at all. I do have limited experience with them, and certainly not in anything as high-performance as what is on the table for the Q60 Coupe. Test driving this car will certainly answer questions (obviously), but there are, as I mentioned, a couple other cars I'd like to give time to once my lease is up with the QX50.

I am a big fan of turbos (and V6's, V8's ...).

so easy to make more power, but i stay conservative for longevity and no headaches.

all my Evo needed was a stage1 Cobb flash (50+ hp for $600 and a few minutes of your time plugging in to the OBDII port).

if Cobb offers an Accessport for the Q60, that would be awesome, and probably all I would do power-wise if I got one. the gains on a twin turbo V6 would probably be fairly large, depending on the factory tune and what size the factory turbos are.

Something no one has been talking about is the fact that Nissan probably took into account using the same engine for the 300hp and 400hp, thus putting the tunners into action. I would not be surprised that somewhere in the warranty agreement it's written that the warranty is null & void if something other than stock software found.

you pay to play.

they can't deny warranty on stuff not related to the tune, though.
blow up engine or transmission, yes. stereo, suspension, etc., no.

that's why i'd only flash a map from a reputable tuning company, and not just throw a boost controller on it and turn up the juice.
