Congratulations, but over here spelling Infiniti with a y would be like our spelling your car “Skylyne”.

True true but in his defense, "Infinity" is the correct spelling of the actual word at minimum, whereas "Skylyne" is just blatant poor spelling. So given it's basically a (U.S., Canada, MidEast, etc.) brand I can cut him some slack.

I don’t understand your statement. As far as the car is concerned, Infinity is NOT the correct spelling. If you’re saying that the word Infinity is a correct spelling for other meanings as listed in the dictionary, as well as an audio component company, then yes. But so what? The OP was talking about the automobile here.

Congrats on the new ride. Welcome to the forums. I am looking forward to seeing what options there are for the Japanese models that might possibly be incorporated into the US models.

I don't have bose system but i may be able to help. PM me what you want to know. My Japanese reading skills are not good, but I will do my best.

Yeah, I like the color, but my gf doesn't, but she doesnt care much. The main reason I got it though, was that it was only one of the 2 7AT type SP models on the market in entire Japan. The other one was silver and I hate that color.
I bought it used with only 6000km on the odo.

Nice car bro, and hell yea nice color.... you can probably go red and black with that color later if you want.... IMHO i hate silver too... its like a white wannabe type color and does really catch peoples eyes as much... but everyone has their own opinion

Yeah, it's a real skyline. I am suprised how similar it is to Infinity though. For example Subaru had more differences between their US and JDM models.

I am definitely not going to stick any Infinity stuff on the outside, as I think Skyline is a heritage, it's like rebadging a Mustang or Corvette, but I might make an exception for interior as I like how infinity badge looks, so maybe steering wheel and kick boards (illuminated ones) I will be in Hawaii next month, any place there where I can pick them up?

I thought about getting one as well, but it's ridiculously over priced and probably needs to be installed at Nissan dealership. I am looking at this one, might get it before summer as it has a smart temperature detection system that will turn the car off once it reaches certain temperature. Otherwise combination of black leather and Japanese sun will cause major butt swamp.
Would you be willing to get some info on the Nissan remote next time you are at the dealership? It would be an interesting writeup. John already asked about the remote in a different post but no specific answers as if it could be programmed for our cars.

I will ask around next time I am there, but I don't have plans yet. Probably gonna be next month. I did go to Autobacs asked about the 3rd party starter and they said it's a complete key substitute. meaning that it has all the functions that OEM key has, plus engine starter.

I suggest you drop by Infiniti dealership and ask if that Nissan engine starter can be installed.

Send me a PM as reminder please.
