Well, as of today....

It's mine!

Not gonna do any driving until Friday, but I can't wait!

Gonna leave it stock for a while, except for speakers, sub, and front headlights.
Need to find good places in Tokyo that can do good job without charging an arm and a leg.

Very nice.

Slightly off topic. Do you know anything (or can you find out anything) about tyhis remote starter? It looks like it's offered by Nissan directly.

Yeah, it's a real skyline. I am suprised how similar it is to Infinity though. For example Subaru had more differences between their US and JDM models.

I am definitely not going to stick any Infinity stuff on the outside, as I think Skyline is a heritage, it's like rebadging a Mustang or Corvette, but I might make an exception for interior as I like how infinity badge looks, so maybe steering wheel and kick boards (illuminated ones) I will be in Hawaii next month, any place there where I can pick them up?

I thought about getting one as well, but it's ridiculously over priced and probably needs to be installed at Nissan dealership. I am looking at this one, might get it before summer as it has a smart temperature detection system that will turn the car off once it reaches certain temperature. Otherwise combination of black leather and Japanese sun will cause major butt swamp.

Sorry, ongoing joke, since all the Infiniti guys seem to want to rebadge their car to say Nissan Skyline 370GT.

I'm sure you can get the emblems shipped overseas; they're not very big. Try Riverside Infiniti.

thanks, i know what you mean, as a lot of people are rebadging their skylines as infinity.

grass is greener on the other side

I like the Nissan one becuase it's designed to work with the car by the manufacturer. I'd like to find out more information about it but I can't find anything.

To be honest I don't there is much difference. The Nissan key works with every nissan model, so I think they just outsource this to some 3rd party company and then stick their badge on it. If you want, I can ask around. I plan to drop by Nissan dealer soon to ask about some other options. PM me a reminder.

Yeah, I like the color, but my gf doesn't, but she doesnt care much. The main reason I got it though, was that it was only one of the 2 7AT type SP models on the market in entire Japan. The other one was silver and I hate that color.
I bought it used with only 6000km on the odo.
