On that note, we shouldnt feed trolls. It just reinforces their behaviour and negates their natural fear of man.

I understand the general sentiment of what the OP is saying and I agree with some of it to some extent - some of the mods on some of our members' cars look incredibly tacky, classless, and ricey for a car like the G37 IMO. But that's just my own opinion and nothing more, their owners think they look great (even though they don't! ) Then again, some people will look at my car which I consider relatively conservative and it will look tacky to them. To me it's not so much what the OP is saying so much as how he came across as an ass when saying it. Especially for a brand new guy in the forum with single digit posts.

Try again. And this time use the diplomacy you are (hopefully) learning as an attorney.

I agree wholeheartedly with what you posted. And, I can see the point the OP was trying to make. I also think some of the cars on here are "ricerish" and hurt the overall G37 body of drivers. But, at the same time, there are others that make up for it. The main problem is people will do ANY mod just because it's not "stock" and therein lies the problem. Different is not always better.

Again, "better" is a personal opinion. It has nothing to do with reality in basically any instance. I believe the ultimate point is, unless its your car that someone jacked, "pimped out", then returned to you... all without your consent... this is all inane, childish finger pointing.

It is absolutely all an opinion, but the "opinion" on who thinks it looks/is better could be held by more sides than another, thus the point of this argument. I don't give a **** what somebody does to their car, but the OP DOES make a valid point. He just goes about it the wrong way. End of the day, we drive G37's, not a honda civic, and that's what the OP was trying to get at.

Yes, this thread was closed earlier! Nice to see it opened. Lol rims is "ghettoizing" a car? Or exhaust? Every car someone puts money into, works for, and takes pride in doing, shouldn't be insulted. Sure someone can go way over the top with thier car, but then again WHO CARES IT'S THIER CAR! If it bothers someone soo much, stop sitting in the shawdows of ur downtime, viewing threads of people making thier cars "ghetto" but modding them. LMAO The G is not just classy, but is a PERFORMANCE car IMO and thus deserves a little modding if an owner chooses to do so. I'm going to go get my "ghettoizing" on and work on my car. Be right back.

Actually I own/drive both. Alas I can only fit two cars worth of info in the signature.

Also, this isnt a democracy and we aren't voting. Majority rules isn't really relevant here.

Useless info: 2000 EM1 Civic Si - 1.8l B18C5/B16A2 hybrid engine @ 11.2:1 CR, B18C5 transmission, dyno tuned, all motor/pump gas - 208FWHP - 13.8@102.6MPH on street tires.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. I'm not Defending the OP, or blasting him. I'm just saying he has a valid point. There is a big difference between "modding" a honda civic and a G37. I'm also not saying majority rules in this situation. I'm saying that I DO AGREE with the OP that distastefully modding a car such as the G37 is not looked at positively by a lot of people. Whether that bothers you are not is up to the individual.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by your "useless info" you added in the last post. I'm not sure if this is a "My **** is bigger than yours" post, but here is some "useless info" about my weekend warrior in case we are playing that game of charades.
