No it should not for a short period of time say 30 seconds to 45 seconds, but I would get the cycle of either open or close completed immediately.

When the operation stops and the roof sags that's when you will be out of alignment.

 

I had all of the problems described as well, way too much of a headache . I uninstalled it and sent it right back for a full refund .

 

OK reinstalled and Everything is working great again. I'm going to have to mess around with the blinker / top button programing still don't under stand how to work it.

 

Just an update, I updated the module and still got the same issues so I disabled the module but didn't uninstall it.

Still getting the same issues so it may not be the module causing the issues but I think the module may be causing the electronics controlling the top to have some issues. Last time I was at the dealership, they told me the top control computer was all wonky when they did a diagnostic on it so they resetted it. Booked another appointment with the dealership with the module disabled and they'll probably just reset the car electronics.

As for the "truck open" issue, I did bring this issue to the dealership before. they found the trunk latch to be loose and just tightened it and it solved the issue. So i'm hoping that's the same problem now. I did give it a shake and it does wiggle a bit with enough force. We'll see what happens after the appointment!
