Rear/Front LED turn signals

Has anyone installed an LED bulb and replaced the incadescent bulb on the front/rear?

I'm looking to buy these (Front Turn Signal LEDs for 2008-2013 Infiniti G37 Coupe (pair) - G37 Coupe - Infiniti - Products By Vehicle) but I'm reading that it needs a resistor.

Watching the video, it looks like it requires some splicing of wires, which I'm really not comfortable with doing at all.

Has anyone else done this without needing to splice a wire open?

If you have a G37 Sedan you can not do that any other way YET. They are working on the module. They have a module for the Coupe but NOT for the sedan yet.
