looking for info on a company

I found a company in Orlando that I want to submit an application to called Universal Engineering Sciences. Any one here work there, have worked there, know someone that does/did etc.

I plan to go dumpster diving on BBB and Google to learn a little about them but personal insight is always best.

My brother works for them and we have used them as consultants. They doo all kinds of engineering work all over florida from buildings to soil. They were incorporated in Florida on 4/29/66, so they have been around a while.

Good info Sean. Thanks for the dig. Their website says they are in the top 20 places to work for in Orlando. Offices all over Florida and some in Georgia so there could be some travel which is cool by me.

Jenn now wants to move to Orlando which is why I am asking. I do not want to just job hop for the sake of job hopping. I am looking for long term career opportunities since I have a family to look after.

I sent my resume to them. Their benefits look nice as well. I have none where I currently work the pay is a little above average but the lack of benfits is begining to concern me.

Thanks again Sean.

Best of luck to you Noah. We would welcome you to Orlando if you move. I'll have someone local to work on sedans.

BTW, Universal Engineering has treated my brother very well. He was out of work for two periods due to motorcycle crashes; one period for about 5 months and the other for about 6 months, with only about 3 months between them, and they held his job for him both times.

I pity you for going to disney this weekend. It's going to be crowded and about 96 degrees.

I'm up for going some other time though. My mom works there.

we went to mgm yesterday. yeah it was hot as H3!! and very crowded.

we dont have annual pases but we do buy thr three day fl res deal once a year and my wife Great Grndmthrs neghboor retired from there and she escorts us in once or twice a year.

Logan is on summer break so we wanted to start it off like gang busters. Plus it is the star wars weekends @ mgm. the heat really tires the kids out and the sleep like rip van winkle which is good for so the heat and crowds are worth.

give me a call when you feel upto going... we can bring the kids out for a little while tire em and take em back to thier GGs house for a nap and go back out with just the adults

Yeah it was like an oven out there. We left when the storm looked like iot was rolling in but it never rained. Oh well cold cotails at grandma's house were muc nicer than the free beer at the hospitality tent.
