How to deal with small scratches? (pics inside)
Lease is coming to an end. AutoVIN (lease inspection company) did an inspection of the car. They found two of the three scratches in the pics below and are wanting to charge me $300.
How easy would these scratches/missing paint be to fix? My car is K52 colour. I was thinking about just using a bit of touchup paint then buffing to keep things looking uniform and smooth. I am in Toronto, Canada so recommendations for local suppliers would be great!
Thoughts?

Yeah I was thinking touchup paint and a little polish/buffing.
I called Nissan/Infiniti and they informed me that Nissan/Infiniti Canada only sells touchup pens. So for $10 USD I can get a K52 touchup pen from a dealership 5min from my house. Going to pick one up on my way home from work and try it out this weekend.
What are people’s experiences with touchup pens? Any tips or advice?

I used some on my previous car.
It really has more to do with your ability to apply.
If you have a steady hand and some skill buffing, it should come out good enough to pass an inspection.

$10 is really cheap for touch up paint. The Infiniti paint I just picked up looked like a rocket. (you will know what I mean when you see it) It had a pen on the top, paint in the middle, and clear coat in the bottom. Initially, use less paint than you think you need as you can always add more. Take your time and it will look fine.
Are you getting another Infiniti? I know a lot of times Nissan has a deal where if you lease or buy another one they give you a $500 waiver for wear and tear issues. I assume it would be similar for Infiniti since they are one and the same.

First, those are NOT small scratches and you'll likely have little positive effect by using the touch up paint on them. The scratches are through parts of the paint and clearcoat, and that paint chip will NOT buff out. Since this damage was already documented on the inspection, I'd say you're better of paying the $300 and calling it good.

I'd just swallow the pill at this point. If you did a decent patch repair prior to getting it inspected it may have gone through, but since it's now on record they'll go over that w/ more scrutiny.
