Interesting; 12-027 is not listed on my service order either. I did have 10-075a. I was in a rush to get out of there but the service manager did say that they applied 2 updates. Not sure what the second would be. I'll call them next week to get an answer.
Btw the service manager said it's no sweat for them to do the update because Infiniti reimburses them for the work.

Plenty of cars have already been updated from 075a to 027. Any dealer that says otherwise is full of ****.

You have to do their jobs for them. Tell them that ITB12-027 or 027a applies to your car, and do not leave there until they fix their computer system, fix their brains, or both. I'm disgusted, and I'm not even experiencing any problems now.
I have to agree based on years of experience with all issues not just this one.

Called today to schedule my oil change and update for next week--dealer could not tell me whether they would be able to do update because they claimed a) the latest update wasn't showing "on their screen" and b) they wouldn't be able to tell anyway until the car is actually hooked up to the computer. Being in Caada, I'll predict that I'll get there next week and the magic computer will only show 075a.

So where is this Service Bulletin that clarifies it is also for 2009?

OK, you need a subscription to see it. How is this different from the ITB-12-027 we have been talking about for 6 weeks?

I believe it's the same thing. It just applies for 09-11 vehicles.

This may be the situation in my case perhaps.
I have a 2010 G37. First applied 10-075 a while back. It caused random lag in stop and go traffic conditions. Applied 12-027 less than a month ago. HAPPY so far. Only complaint right now is from passengers with upset stomach (motion sickness).

I think the tranny's adaptive feature is starting to kick in...

with my morning commute, it seems like the 7-5 downshifting is slowing down (relative to how it was on day 1 after re-flash) when I hit the gas now...

anybody else feeling this is happening?

though, I still don't understand what does the ASC accomplish... every press release discusses that it makes the drive sportier like a synchro rev-match...

2010-2011 G37 shift responsiveness issues.
ITB12-027 Released: 5/15/12
Engine VQ37VHR
2010-2011 G37 (V36/CV36)
7 speed tranny.

If you confirm one or more conditions.

1. Harsher than expected down shifts when coasting to a stop.
2. Hesitaion/lag when accelerating after coasting
3. Hesitation/lag or harsher than expected down shifts when coming to a stop and accelerating again (rolling stop).
4. Engine rev matching during moderate to heavy braking.
NOTE: This is normal ASC, adaptive shift control, operation that can be removed from the normal drive mode, but will remain in sport mode.

It's exactly the same except when you went to that site prior to mid June it would only show up on the 2010-2011 model years.

But how does it help dealers who still can't figure out how to get their CONSULTS or whatever to update 2009's?

There are two problems:

1) The dealers want demonstrated proof of a problem before they even look for an update.

2) The dealer can't find the latest update (only 075a) for a particular car/VIN when they do go in to do it.

Some people are only having the second problem--when the dealer cares less because they are getting paid by Infiniti to do the update and they listen and respect a customer who probably knows more than they do.

For the '09's I think when they initially hook up the Consult tool and hit update, nothing is found. They then probably have to do a manual search for 12-027. When the found it for me, they said will flash it and see what happens.

Eureka!! If only more than 1% of Infiniti dealers were that good! The 99% the rest of us have to deal with won't go the extra step.

12-027 covers all 09-11 G37 sedans and coupes. The tech must use Consult 3+ to Reprogram the ECM and tcm, not Consult 3.If it is not used, the update will not be listed. If the dealership does not update their ASIST every day, bulletins and software updates will not be in their system.

And why is it that so many dealership service departments can't figure this out? Why, given the seriousness and prevalence of tranny problems, would there not be some proactive effort from Infiniti to make sure dealers pay attention to this?

I was told by the svc. mgr. that they get updates every Monday morning.
