Sounds like its time to go hit up a number of places that sell Ultra and stock up on several years worth. Then worry about it way down the line. Know of any online sellers with a good price?

Did they change the Platinum formula as well? If so, bummer, because that's what I had settled on.
...
Looks like they 'PurePlused' Platinum as well.

i'd grab this if i lived in a single family home:
Pennzoil Ultra 5W-30

actually, its cheaper to buy 4 cases of 6quarts each from them.

I attached my results, I purchased my 2009 G37S used with around 39k miles and I have no idea what was in there previously or for how long. The second oil analysis is of Motul 8100 eco-nergy 5w30, it appears to have done well but I currently have Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30 and intend to compare results when I approach a similar mileage range.

Did anybody get any bad results? I've read quite a few of everyone's report and they always say good things.

I just received my oil analysis from Blackstone and they said that I can easily go to 6000 miles OCI with Mobil 1. I dropped by the Infiniti dealer and they told me that Infiniti now says you can go to 5000 miles on dino oil. Same VQ engine, but a totally different interval.

I bought my G37x previously owned. Had no idea what kind of oil they put in before I bought it so I did an Oil Analysis. I have used Blackstone many times prior for other cars and my VFR. Great company.

Analysis shows engine is in good shape even with the 5w20 oil they put in but with the mileage I did and the driving I do I'm not really surprised.

Mobil1 EP added and longer intervals here I come.

I purchased my 2012 g37x coupe in Jan 2015, with 19500 miles. So I dont know how the previous owner was on it. This is my DD. I drive pretty calm most of the time, but I'm in city stop and go traffic allot. Really love the car so far, got the UA done using Mobil 1 Syn done at the dealer. They mentioned a tiny bit high on copper and I noticed a trace of silver and nickle 1 ppm (which seems a little weird). Seems pretty good other then that. What do you guys think? Should I try a different oil or stick with this?

Used M1 w/ our G35, have had better UOAs w/ Pennzoil Platinum though in our current G37, but since it wasn't the same car it's not definitive. FWIW I also use the bigger Infiniti/Nissan V8 filters, quite a bit bigger than the very small G filters.
