Its the safety reinforcements and sound deadening materials in the coupe supposedly.

well just think about this, the coupe brakes are much larger, adding A LOT of weight. The rims and tires add almost 25lbs too, I think they are something like 6lbs heavier per wheels than sedan 17's the coupe exhaust is louder and the road noise was louder so they used more sound deadening material supposedly to make the ride quiet, but most of all it is safety reinforcements. Coupe dont have the pillar in the center of tha car separating the doors, so its hard to make them safe for side impact collisions. They have HEAVY reinforcements in the doors supposedly, and throughout the sides of the vehicle.

I checked up on the weights for the sedan vs. coupe based on the spec sheets from nissannews.com

2010 G37x Sedan - 3807lbs.
2011 G37x Coupe - 3834lbs.

A 2011 G37 Journey Coupe - 3631lbs, 2011 G37 Journey Sedan - 3618lbs.

for some reason I was thinking you had a sport coupe. If they are both non-sport than the weight is very close like shown above^^^

The sport model, with its larger brake calipers, bigger rotors and bigger wheels, thicker sway bars etc. adds a few more pounds...
