Exactly. That's why you can't really even compare dynos

It's primarily a tool for tuning, and comparing gains on a surface level.

Don't sweat the numbers.

you cant compare 2 different cars regardless. There are so many variables in just the cars components, not to mention variables that can effect a dyno dynamics machine. You might make better numbers after your engine is broke in. The main point is you can't take HP figures and compare them accross the lines with other cars. All you can do is continue modding your car, and repeat the dyno to measure gains. Thats really all a dyno is there for, to measure gains and tune.

Tire wear not sure but his car was 38k+ miles and mine had 1200.

You should always use the post# (yours was #63) cause not everyone has their posts per page set up the same as you. For instance, mine is set at 100 posts per page if I remember correctly and so far, all "comments" in this thread are on page one the way I'm seeing it.
Hope that makes sense.

I'll give you at $100 per horse, it's a questionable investment, however most do it for a great extent for the asthetic value, the horsies are a bonus. I would not trade the looks, sound or performance for stock if offered $2500, spent twice that on suspension and wheels. I will add though that comparisons between bolt-ons seems pointless.. they all seem to be putting you in the same +25Whp range after tune.

Was actual the first post on page 3..

I gonna have to agree 100 percent. My wife has a 10 37X sedan STOCK, She has a little over 6k and her car feels faster??? She we did a couple of pulls, 1 Was from a dig, ( Dead even till top top of 3rd- We shut down) and a HW pull 60-100MPH ( Dead Evan again) I can not pull 1 inch on her. Granted we did not run all the way on either run but to dead even is

So one thing I have tried over the past three days( Since the runs) Is drive my car harder when I drive it.. I'm gonna do this for a week and try the runs again.. BTW I can still smell my exhaust burning after the runs, Man does it stink.. LOL I can smell it in and out of the car..

The $100 per horse has been the motto for a long time. I do agree as my other cars have lived that rule, Just not this one??? I love the look and the sound of my exhuast and intake but when I can not beat my wifes STOCK sedan it makes me wonder?? The tune, +25WHP, I'll be serious I will be severly shock if I even get +10 WHP when I tune my car on the 29th.. I Just had no faith.. I keep seeing guys put down 20 more than me with just intakes RWD Auto-, Yes they have more miles and maybe mileage is the key to this whole thing, Buy why would Infiniti build in restriction till a X mileage????

I took my 05 EVO( 2000 miles)+ bolt-ons-+cams+ tune and made 373 AWHP??

Sedans are lighter which probably is why you're even and not getting wooped by mom's car.. I know it goes against all that's holy, but that's
God's humor for you. The tune was the only mod I did that registered on my butt meter which until then I thought was broken, providing you get a good one, you should be pleasently surprised.

You just one did it at 650ish mile mark. Every car I have owned I do a break in oil change usually around 6-700 miles or so then I do every 2500-2800 miles. An use synthinc. Mileage is 1300 I think , LOL was in it today but did not look.

I'm sure you already know this, but the sedan IS faster than the coupe. It weighs about 175lbs lighter than the coupe. After your car breaks in you should be pulling on your wife, but not by a lot. After a tune, you'll be fine. I had full headers, HFC's, CBE and stillen gen 3 on my old 08 coupe and was able to gain 17whp with a custom cobb tune. It was the largest gain in performance I had beside adding headers and HFC's.

I think this this is the first time I have ever seen a sedan version of a car being lighter than the coupe. It almost defies logic.
