Pros will shoot it with spray gun and with proper pre work. The difference is definitely noticeable, pro job will come out as smooth as OEM, if done correctly. But 350 is waaay to much.

I painted mine DIY for maybe $15-$20 in supplies. It looks absolutely perfect and there is no reason to send it somewhere to be done unless you are either inept at DIY or can find a reasonable price like ^

 

look where you live everything is overpriced in NY to begin with add the hamptons and uhmm bye bye

 

the trick to having it look pro is, after painted do some color sanding on it with fine sand paper, and that will finish it.

I paid 150 to get a custom emblemless grill made and painted.
