Offset on these OEM wheels + new Gram lights and ASA wheels?

I believe my '11 G37x sedan has these wheels on it. (SKU: D0300JK125, 18x7.5).
Does anyone know what the offset is on these wheels? I can't seem to find it listed on any website.

I plan to swap them out with these ASA wheels (18x8 offset:40mm)
for winter and Rays Gram Lights 57Extreme 18x8.5 offset:33m a few months later so that I can fit the Akebono BBK on them as well.

Would either of these two be good, direct bolt-on wheels for the G37x sedan?

EDIT: I plan to keep my 225/50/R18 tires for now and will swap them out in a few months, not sure if that would make any difference here?

Here's your OEM specs~18x7.5 front/rear. Cast aluminum-alloy, Bolt pattern 5x114.3. Offset +43mm

Both of the wheels you listed will work fine, for winter I'd run 225/50/18 and for the Gramlites (nice wheels BTW!) 245/45/18.
you could use those old 225s on either wheel w/out issue in the meantime. The +33 on the Gramlites will give you a nice near flush fit FTW!

Thanks!

I made a mistake with the link above. These are the wheels I'm getting: https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/product...&wheel=57EX_SP

Looks like they clear the BBKs as well, am I correct? Since they will be 2.7mm further inside compared to oem wheels, do I need to worry about rubbing on the inside?

You won't have to worry about rubbing on the steering knuckle 18x9.5 +45 barely clear the knuckle so those 8.5 +43 will have a bit over 1/2" to spare. I'd go w/ the +33 offset though, better fit at the fender. Using CKV36 as your vehicle it doesn't list a +43, it lists a +45 so if that's the case they will clear your BBK.

Yep, I was planning to get the 18x8.5 +33 option. From the website, it looks like the +33 clears the BBK.

"Ω:Clears IS, GS, RC, Crown (type 210), Fairlady Z (Z33, Z34), Skyline (R34 GT-R, R34 25GT-T, CPV35, CKV36, HV37), Silvia, Lancer EVO.(Ⅶ~Ⅸ,Ⅹ), WRX STI, Impreza (4POT, 6POT), RX-7, Integra big caliper models."

What's interesting is that my mechanic said the OEM 18x7.5 +43 will not clear the BBK even with 10-15mm spacers and the 18x8.5 +45 is quite similar to oem (10mm extra outwards) and according to Rays website it does clear.

Is the shape of the wheel and spokes also a factor in determining if the BBK fits?

Which OEM 18x7.5 are you referring to?
If it's these, they will clear~

Not those.

These are my rims. I believe they were offered as part of an appearance/sports package at some point?
If I remember correctly, it was because the inner wall of this wheel was not 18", but smaller, which would cause rubbing on the top of the calipers.

I was talking to a few vendors this AM and they mentioned that the 19" rims would look better on the larger sedan body, so now I'm debating if I should go for the 19x8.5 +33 wheels instead.
Per Rays website, it looks like they clear the BBK too

"∞:Clears IS, GS, RC, Crown (type 210), GT-R (R35)φ380 Rotor, Fairlady Z (Z33, Z34), Skyline (R34 GT-R, R34 25GT-T, CPV35, CKV36, HV37), Silvia, Lancer EVO.(Ⅶ~Ⅸ,Ⅹ), WRX STI, Impreza (4POT, 6POT), RX-7, Integra big caliper models."

EDIT: Mark from Ravspec inquired with Rays for me and they recommend going with the 19" rims for the sedan to clear the BBK calipers.

It's always nice to go to a slightly larger diameter barrel for more caliper clearance so the 19s would be a good plan, only con is the tires cost quite a bit more. The 1/2" lower profile sidewall is also a plus for cornering.

The Gram Lights are, sadly, out of stock for next 3 months or so in the 19" configuration.

Another wheel I've been looking at is the Enkei Raijin 19x8 +40. Do you know if these would clear the BBK?

Once again, thanks for all your help!

Let me get back to you later on, BTW, do you like any of these SSR wheels?
There's some nice 18s & 19s that will clear the BBK

I inquired about these with a few dealers, similar price to the Gram lights and similar wait times.

Here's a pretty awesome deal on some wedsports, 18x8.5+35 would be a nice fit WedsSport SA-15R
They also have them in 19x8.5 +35 for $80 more per wheel
You could also run a 19x9.5 +45 if you want an even wider setup

Thanks!

I'm getting a pretty good deal on the Enkei Raijins in hyper silver - 19x8.5 +35 w/ 245/40/R19 Contintental DWS tires from getyourwheels and they confirmed the akebono bbk clearance.

So it looks like my Akebono plans are back on track.

I was looking at the Enkei Raijin 19x8 +40 version initially, but they need a 7mm spacer to clear, so I went with the 19x8.5 +35 version of the wheels..

They will make for good backup/winter wheels for now and I will consider Gram Lights/SSR sometime next year.

Those Enkeis are a nice looking set and should be a good plan to get you through.
