AUX video bypass while driving

Now I have looked all over the place, and I see alot of information on bypassing the NAV, but I do not have NAV on my g37x - I believe nissan nav is lacking - but anyway I was told when I bought the car from a friend that if you clicked the E brake down "1 click" it would not effect the e-brakes at all - and would allow the bypass. Although the E-brake light is on. I did test it on a hill and I couldn't feel any resistance on the brakes, but I'm afraid to drive it any further without further confirmation that I won't foul up the emergeny breaking system.

Is there any other way to bypass this or does the 1 click method work just fine?

Please don't drive like that. You will mess up your car. Your thread will be close because this can't be discuss on the forums.
