I chose a coupe over the 2 seater corvette and 350z as I need to transport my 4 year old around somehow.

Let me rephrase that as it seems to be taken literally by some. If you want a couch for a back seat with plenty of leg room get a sedan.

I agree with your statement Falcon, I look at any coupe as a 2+2 no matter how roomy. To me that's just extra storage space back there, lord knows the trunk of the G isn't anything to write home about either. It gives me an extra 2-3 feet of length on the rear seat pass through as well. I find it hilarious that people complain they can't fit full sized adults in the back like it's a flaw with the G37. Although a back seat may be standard, a roomy back seat is an added luxury on coupe's if it's available. No car buyer ever NEEDS a coupe. The whole segment is pretty much a fashion statement. You're putting forth the image that your lifestyle allows for little practicality and that you're sporty, fun, single, young whatever. There is nothing practical about buying a coupe, any practicality is icing on the cake IMHO. To me if a Coupe can adequately fit your whole family, the design is taking up too much space and they are sacrificing the potential exterior shape.

HAHA! How random. No I didn't know you were selling your car! Are you/have you gotten a G37 yet? Nice to see you on here.

I'm just finishing talks with Nichole at Santa Monica, that is a great referral. She is awesome, try giving her a call. I should be picking up the car either this week or early next week. I've got a Vegas vacation coming up this weekend. BTW, i saw Lazy Turbo is on here too.

Thanks. I've been working with a dealer out in TO. I've been speaking with the GM there too, so I'm confident i'll get taken care of. That's really funny, did you ever hang out on AudiWorld? A few of those guys are over here too. Have fun in Vegas, i'll see you around.

Calabria and Tony are going to be the odd ones out now. I'll just have to race them when i have a sighting so they'll cross over too. See ya around T.O. in a new G just look for my personal plates, they are coming over from the Audi, FUL COV.

Haha yeah. It sucks that we can't ride when Clay (Calabria) has his meets, he's kind of strict about Audi's only. I'll keep an eye out for you, i'm only out in that area for work though.

I have had several MTs over my life -- compared to others, this is a very easy transmission.

I would consider an AT if you do a lot of city driving -- with stop lights at every block. IMHO, a MT is annoying is city traffic during rush hour but otherwise it is great.

I do alot of "city" driving, but out here there is alot of space between the lights so it's not that big of a deal. I'm not usually in traffic on the freeway, sometimes on the way home, but it's moving.

Hey dummptyhummpty; I find that the clutch on my 6MT grabs a little fast and somewhat hard, just like a performace clutch should. It should grab right off the top of the pedal, and when you find that sweet spot without thinking about, it's a piece of cake. Taking the time to learn, makes anything more fun in the end. It's not for everyone although, so think about it.

Thanks. I really felt that it would just take some practice to master.

Just wear out a buddies clutch first so you get a basic feel of driving stick. You'll enivitabley stall, it happens to all of us, even veterans stall everyonce in a while.

Well I've driven stick a little bit. I learned how to go fast on an NSX and then learned everything else on an Integra. I had some experience with my neighbor's s2000 as well. I test drove the 6mt and the second time I did much better. It just seems like I would need to spend a good day with it and be fine.
