zSpeed undershroud went on

Still have the RJM pedal, KWv1, cusco, and SPC kit in the garage for the next session on the lift

Sorry didn't snap any pics this time, need to remember next time...

But, I'm curious, what's the purpose of the GTR start button mod?!? Just looks?

That's a big improvement right there. Nice.

Orly? I keep going on-again, off-again with that mod. Something is going to happen this summer, and it's a toss-up between the RJM clutch pedal assembly and the TWM Short Shifter.

Sure would love to read an in-depth review on the RJM in the 6MT Sedan. (hint hint)

Same here John, I keep going back and forth and still haven't gotten it. I'd like to read a thorough review on it as well

Yep - purely cosmetic. Some people also mod the GTR button so the ON, ACC, buttons are different colors also

woohoo I figured out multi-quote

You guys are funny...will post up a proper review once I get a chance to install it. Really dreading the install lol - i plan on removing the seat to do it but it still looks like a pain. Hopefully I'll get around to it soon.

I had the TWM short shifter when I had my coupe but never got a around to installing it...ended up selling it when I sold my coupe.

I don't plan to do the short shifter on this one. I will get a new shift **** though, once I figure out which one I really like.

Why not? There's a story here... let's hear it. Clearly you had plans with the previous car, so much so that you actually bought the STS, but didn't install it.

Mike and I both replaced ours, and each have strong opinions why one is better than the other, but with opposing perspectives.

Meh - no real good story here, seemed like a good mod to make the car feel sportier, so picked it up...had a kid and 6 months later traded the car in before I had the chance to install it. If i knew i'd be back in a G so soon I wouldn't have sold it, but for some inexplicable reason i picked up an Altima slush box instead of a G 6MT sedan

This time around decided the shifts are short enough for me on this car and that the customizable clutch pedal would be a better use of my modding $$. There are only a few reviews on the RJM here on the forum, but the ones that are there are glowing reviews and from at least 1 poster I trust very much. Thinking logically about the mechanics of changing gears, I really have no issues with the shift throw, whereas there is no doubt in my mind the clutch engagement could be improved.

Switching to *****...I had a TWM **** on my coupe, want to find something a bit more unique this time around. My buddy has a **** from Raceseng on his BRZ thats pretty cool. I don't see many of them around so that may be the direction I go. + they are pretty local to me here in PA.

Well, it's still a story of sorts. Thanks. I'm subbed here, so I hope to read your RJM review someday soon. I keep flipping back and forth between STS and clutch pedal as my summer mod, and if I keep reading positive RJM stories, they will likely come first.

As for shift *****... go look at mine if you haven't already. It's unique, but not at all flashy. Looks positively OEM, yet solid titanium.

Speaking of what you have said in a previous reply that you'll remove the seat to install the RJM pedal, no need for that, I've seen it being installed and while it may seem like a spot with any comfort to work in, it's doable and it's not that bad either, definitely clutch engagement could be improved nonetheless.

*****... I fell in love with Tommy Kaira Hebi Bebi once I drove Kevin's (Choman) 6MT sedan and I told him I had to get one as well, oh man what an incredable difference, also a bit shorter so I don't think I'd be ever looking into installing an STS , but just weighs in at 515 grams making it the heaviest **** on the market (supposedly) making gear rowing much more fun..

Speaking of which Mike, You'll get to see it for yourself this Saturday anyway, I'm curious of what your input will be.

I removed my seat when I installed the RJM, removing the seat makes it much easier because it allows you to lay fully on your back. No neck or side pains, definitely remove the seat when installing - it's only 4 bolts and a few plugs.

I tried the spring replacement and even removing the spring completely from the OEM pedal but was never happy with those mods. The pedal feel is much better than the stock pedal on the OEM clutch - it wasn't on and off anymore but more of a gradual switch. Also being able to adjust the engagement point to your liking is such a good thing. My wife even knows how to adjust it now so that she can move it when she is wearing heels.

The RJM is definitely a must for any 6MT owner, I can't see a short throw making as big as an impact as the RJM clutch pedal.

Yep - that's the plan.
Think I might try to tackle this over memorial day weekend. If I don't do it over that weekend then I may not have time to do it for another month.

Looks very nice and you're right, looks OEM for sure. Not quite what I'm looking for though. (not sure exactly what I AM looking for )
