Speaking of *****... Wow, that statement just sounds weird...LOL... Anyway, I've got a Rob **** RK6A-L from UUC Motorwerks in my Porsche that I absolutely love. It weighs in at a hefty 24 oz (~685 grams) so it's nice and heavy, but it's still wrapped in leather so it doesn't get too hot, which is important in a convertible (which my car is), and it's also height adjustable.

It is awkward anywhere but here to announce publicly that reading this thread is getting me excited to pick up my 2012 G37s Coupe 6MT. You're really giving me ideas for mods. Thanks for the posts Falker!

Overall a fun day. Can't really feel any difference with the cusco installed yet, will need to test it out more on some nice twisties. Looks nice though

Thank you, Mike it was great meeting you, a twin sedan owner. Thanks for the compliments, appreciate them! With the rate you're going at you'll be done by the end of the year! Sucks we didn't get enough time, could've tried out the shift **** and what not but unfortunately the rain kinda killed it at the end... It was pouring like crazy on my way back... At times I couldn't see the road or where the lanes were
were.

I'll get on here later on my PC to add some of the pictures I took as well

That Cusco strut tower bar looks really nice. I'm curious... does it hit the heat shield on the underside of the hood at all? My GT-Spec rubs the heat-shield just slightly in the middle which caused the polished finish to get ruined pretty quickly, so your constantly having to re-polish it.

Just noticed this pic and the access opening for the oil drain plug. Do you have a picture of the entire Z Speed lower shroud? This seems like a really nice feature for doing your own oil changes... Only issue I would have is that mine filter has been relocated to the other side of the engine due to my GTM SC, so I would need to add another access door. That's why I'm curious what the other side of the shroud looks like.

Thanks for all the awesome ideas, man. You've got some really cool mods on your car already!

I tried to snap a full pic of it but i was on a weird spot on the lift to get a good one...Next time I'll grab one for you.

that opening is actually bolted on with 2 10mm bolts that come off quick and open that window. the rest of the shroud is solid so you would have to cut your own opening and fasten it somehow if you wanted to use it...or take the whole thing off.

All - working on the RJM install this weekend and getting the seat out now.

Is there a trick to removing the white wire clips without breaking them?...ive got the seat unbolted and the wiring harnesses unclipped but can't figure out how these white clips come loose:

Hey Falker, you got my attention on this project! I'm really eager to read your progress reports.

I've got a Canadian friend who knows the guy making those pedals... he'll be visiting later this summer, and offered to pick one up on his way down to New York. My buddy is a mechanic, so I'm hoping he will help me install it while here.

Psyched for you, Falker. Take breaks and report in. I'll be checking.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Unfortunately after i got under the dash i got a little overwhelmed and as i read through the instructions again I wasn't confident I was going to be able to pull off this install on my own.

So back on went the seat and reset the system after re-connecting the negative battery terminal.

I may try this again when i can get together with my buddy. A second set of eyes may give me the confidence i need to get this done...or may just take it to a shop. Even with the seat off it's kinda a bitch of a position and space to be working in. May be money well spent to have someone else take care of this install.

Aw damn. That's disappointing.

Well then, how soon are you expecting to pick this back up, whichever way you go?
