My local dealer was able to match Infiniti of Scottsdale price for elite warranty. On top of that, they didn't need or charge me for an inspection since my car is serviced there regularly. So I ended up getting it from my local dealer.

After a couple years hiatus I am coming back to the G I had a 2008 G37s coupe 6MT up until a couple years ago. I traded in my G and got a 2013 Altima sedan. I needed a sedan to fit a car seat, and went with an auto so my wife could drive the car as well.

Fast forward 2 years later and while the Altima sedan is a really nice car, I am really missing driving a stick. And finding a sedan with a stick, but also all the loaded options I want is very difficult, and there are limited options.

So I decided to look for used 2013 6MT G37s sedans and finally found a decent deal using car max. Even after paying an $850 transfer fee to ship the car to my local car max – the purchase price will be about 3k less than what dealers are asking for – all the dealers I contacted just would not budge at all on the price of these, all were in the $30,800 – $31,300 range for cars around this mileage!

So the car in en route now and if everything checks out I’ll be trading in my Altima and coming back to the G! It’s got 24k miles on it and is Graphite Shadow. Still has almost 2 years factory warranty left on it. I can’t wait for it to arrive so I can check it out.

Falker congratulations on the '13 Graphite shadow 6MT sedan, that's exactly what I got also 2013, I got mine in May of 2013 with less than 5k miles on it.

I just noticed you're from Philly, so certainly only more than an hour away, once you get it, we definitely should link up someday with our twin '13 KAD 6MT sedans lol.

Keep us all posted !

Here's one of my favorite pictures of my G

and here's a more recent one from few days ago taken with my cell phone, after some updates to it ( darker powdercoated wheels and some other stuff)

Great choice!

Unbelievable evening today...

Carmax emailed me at about 5pm and I took possession and was home by 10pm.

Super easy process with carmax and I couldn't be happier with them. got 1k over KBB excellent value for my altima and their price on the G was 1k under KBB dealer price. The car was in excellent shape and aside from a minor scratch on the bumper looks brand new. Highly recommend carmax.

Will be ordering my LEDs tonight. Also plan on changing fluids, oil, trans, diff very soon.

Best of both worlds. I wondered why my local dealership that my friend works at would choose to give up a sale like they did. I guess if the price is at actual cost then maybe they figured they would make more money by charging for the inspection. Less work for profit? Who knows. Glad to hear it worked out for you.

My buddy has a lift in his garage, as soon as we can get together I'll be changing out the engine, diff and trans oils.

zSpeed under shroud going on as well, shipped out today.

LEDs on their way.
Front bumper plugs on their way.
Infiniti license plate bracket on it's way.
GT-R start button on it's way.

Tint on Monday

Can you tell I'm excited?

Nice to see that your G found a good owner

Thanks man. I've noticed you seem to be the wheel fitment guru around here...you'll probably get a message from me in the near future. Likely want to go with a Volk TE37 SL staggered setup with 18s and trying to figure out what size/offset/tire size to go with assuming no drop or mild drop like swift or eibach...
