Deelow's G37 Sedan Build Thread
#77
Also can anyone point me towards a g37 non sports to Akebono upgrade DIY? I can't find one on search. It's gonna be a few months before it's completed as well, I figure early to mid summer. I just want to slowly buy the parts needed. Which is another question, bedsides lines, pads and rotors, what else do I need. So far I'll have all four calipers for $180, which after powder coat will be a heck of a deal. Should I take this opportunity to rebuild them as well? Excited!

I think Shuriks' DIY is pretty good~
Did my Akebono BBK install today! pics inside of the process and issues! - G35Driver
You'll also need a spare tire/wheel from an S and do you have the raw calipers or are they already loaded w/ the clips & pins?

EDIT: Seems like he only had issues with the back? and only with the wrong brake lines?

Grounding kit....should I or shouldn't I? Strongly considering it, but trying to find a kit for a sedan that's at least 8ga.
Oh and where in the heck can I get one of those polished coolant overflow catches?

I was glad to see this, it's my exact car! Do you have any pics of it lowered with the stock wheels? I'll be using stock in winter. There are some wheels like yours locally here for $600, was really thinking 18's though due to horrible roads here due to bad winter.

I considered the Anniversary 18" wheels before I saw these. I had a mutual friend with the seller, so I got a good deal. I'm also going to paint a set of the center caps to match the wheels except the Mt. Fuji in the center. The emblem is in good condition on the caps, but the other parts aren't. Luckily I have some experience with this stuff.

Good News: I've pulled the trigger on a few items such as paint for the center caps and grille, R2C Intake, a shifter boot and working on getting my Akebonos slowly ready to drop off for powder-coat(Still haven't decided on a color). Rears should be here this week!
Bad News: I've been too crappy feeling to do anything to the car for 2 weeks now so my garage is slowly filling with parts. I hope by this weekend sometime I'll have enough done to warrant an update!
