You know, all this begs the question... what are you doing about hardware? (nuts & bolts) That particular consideration is a whole modding genre unto itself, Havoc. There are all kinds of designs, materials, finishes. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your POV), there's isn't a whole lot of exposed hardware in our engine bay.

I tried to get all the doo-dads sent in at the same time. I did have the VMS cap painted. I saw your sticker didn't work out quite as planned and since things were getting sprayed anyway... Those big finned things are Stillen calipers, not mine but the color is pretty similar.

Hardware... Right now I am planning on going with neochrome. I think that will work?

Are you asking me, or telling me? I think neon-chrome hardware is very over-the-top. However, with your purple accents and black car, you might actually pull it off. So... I reserve judgement. Sure is interesting what you're doing, though.

You know, I was expecting to be the only guy at the meet-up where people checked out the engine bay. And then you go do this... Damn, Chris.

Well, I bought a few sets so... I think I'm telling you although your feedback is always appreciated. I liked the neochrome online. Then when it arrived I was like, WTF was I thinking? But I'm in the same boat. They're small and I "think" they may pull everything together. Or look like heck, 50/50. I'll try and get some pics tonight but I have to talk to two prospective applicants and argue with a co-worker. Then it may be time for bourbon and a cigar.

There is no doubt in my mind that your engine bay will be cleaner than mine. This is all a distraction is all!

Just realized I haven't posted pictures of the hardware yet. I'll try and do that tomorrow.

Some minor stuff this weekend, swapped out the previous grounding kit for a BlackBetty kit and cleaned the throttle bodies. The car is shifting much, much better now. I'm throwing a SES light but I'm told it's just an idle relearn code. Which doesn't make sense to me since there are no idle issues but we'll see.

Still waiting for the parts back so I can reassemble everything. Starting to wonder if I'll get it all back together before the meet.

Installed JDM tails today, I think I like the look but now I'm back to the shade if red I was at before having my original tails tinted. We'll see, I'll leave them on for a bit to make sure I like them then may go the midnight route.

Haha wow. Win lose win lose.

Bringing the tinted tails to the meet, or not enough room in the trunk? At least we all get to see JDM tails. That's pretty cool.

I actually may bring them depending on how much room there is and if I can decide in advance whether or not to go midnight on the JDMs and drop the off at ONEighty. I'm thinking the light tint would look pretty good on the JDMs as well.

It's a very, very subtle difference. Maybe no one else will notice (except I just mentioned it).

Right now I'm more "concerned" about getting the engine bay back together. Ah well, it will be good to meet everyone. That's what I'm focusing on now.

That would be awesome! But I'll be in a rental most likely. I'm putting together a meeting / training with the TSA in late July right now. Looking like the third week, I'll definitely reach out. I know a visit to the Yardhouse is on deck, maybe the Stinking Rose but I'm thinking to stay the weekend.

Thank you sir! Came out better than I could have imagined, JP did amazimg work. I just got the final photos tonight, looks like I'll have a chance to get it all back together on Saturday, maybe. Rotors should be here tomorrow and I'm hoping to get the rest of the parts back by ?Thursday or Friday. Dropping the car off with the dealer for a couple / three days tomorrow.
