John is on point though. I wish I could argue but.... Not certain how I'll address yet to be honest. I have an email out to Mike but I'm not crazy about the fit of the boot. I could try and snug it up,mthat should circumcise it I hope.
OMG, couldn't help but blow some coffee on that one
Boot circumcision.

See what you started John

Sorry, guys. You've both done some things with your cars over the years that are odd, where the initial excitement of a new mod quickly fades into a what-was-i-thinking moment. But those are few and rare occurrences. For the most part, you've each done some amazing work, willing to invest time, money and creativity into unique mods. Unfortunately, this shift boot falls into the former category, and I think Chris deserves credit for actually taking a picture of it.

No offense ever intended.

I thought the same thing when I first saw it. (That's what she said?)

None taken at all John, I really did laugh out loud when I saw your response because it was spot on!

This one definitely had me scratching my head as soon as I installed it. If I have time this weekend I'll pull it apart again and try to snug up a bit though I am hoping that Mike will have some news. Maybe as the leather softens up it will "droop" (I know, I know) a bit more and be easier to work with. Or I'll need to condition the heck out of it.

That's not a bad idea. Use a generous amount of lotion, and work the leather boot up and down the shaft, rolling it gently over the ****.

And please, get this on video. Thank you.

You truly are on a roll J, must say I haven't laughed at my computer like this in a while, thanks!
And no offense taken on my part either.
