Scratch that. I know they're in the garage somewhere but I can't find anything in that mess at the moment - looked for 4 hours this weekend and nada.

If I *do* find them they're yours.

If you need the switches you can have mine. I'll never go back to the G37 steering wheel now that I have the heated Q60 wheel fitted.

Let me know and I'll pull them from storage.

Thanks, guys. However, I still have my original wheel, so if I really get the itch to make my Cruise Control whole again, I could do it with the parts on-hand.

But I'll be honest, I'll probably never do it, and just give the spare steering wheel to the next owner. I simply don't use Cruise Control on the G. Once you drive a car with ACC, standard CC is annoying.

Gotcha. Thought it was a "confirmed" dead steering switch issue.

Don't forget to check the rubber pads on the brake pedal (and clutch while you're down there) switches...those pads are starting to rot and break off more frequently now as these cars age. This turned out to be my issue when the ASCD wouldn't set.

Keep them for a rainy day, Mike. I have a stone interior, not black.

Haha, no, it's the Adaptive Cruise Control. The wheel has it, but the car doesn't. And because of that Cruise Control can't be activated and managed.

I don't use cruise control, so it's really not an issue. And I've never changed my Tune map, so that's not an issue either.

Fortunately the other stuff all works.

BTW, I'm just going to keep thanking you for the wheel whenever it comes up. Still very grateful.

Ah gotcha. Guess you don't have that giant brick hanging inside your front bumper. And lol no need to thank me, it was gathering dust and went to someone who appreciates it so I'm more than happy.

Intelligent Cruise Control wasn't available for the 6MT in 2011.

I've always found this webpage helpful: https://www.infinitihelp.com/models/...ifications.php

ICC doesn't work if it can't have full zero - full speed authority - IE can't change gears automatically on the 6MT.

I didn't know the switches themselves came in different colors - I thought they were all black regardless of color of the wheel/upholstery.

The 6MT wasn't really available around these parts, so I'm only familiar with some of the differences, mainly those that show up on RWD vs AWD and S vs Journey. Essentially stuff I figured out myself or ran into while working on my car.

I was really tempted to just cover it up when making my new grilles. I don't use it. But it would be a pain if I ever sold the car, so I ended up going the OEM+ way and left the window/shelf hole for it open. Might be a good idea touse some leftover mesh to add a removable piece that I can take off if I ever need to.

I'll be swapping out my Vossens for Duckfeet & Snows this week, probably Friday. Thanksgiving is always my spot on the calendar to do this. The springtime swap, however, that's up in the air based on weather... typically late April.

Anyway, anticipating the snow tires has made me drive the car more often lately, and I have to say I absolutely love, Love, LOVE! how this car responds to 45°F temps. It's a freaking beast with the throttle, and I can only guess it's the cold air. When it's truly freezing out, I'm on snow tires and there are all kinds of creaks & groans that come with winter driving. But when temps are in the 40's, man oh man does this car come alive.

That is all.

Hmm. Maybe not Friday. Temps will be in the lower 30s that day. Ugh.

Finally got around to swapping duckfeet and snows, but only one side today, and the other tomorrow. It's such a freaking dance with spacers on/off. Plus it never got over 35°F today. Yikes.

Also, I brushed against the flat edge on my passenger side rear fender, unfortunately it happened with the socket post on my torque wrench. So yeah, I scratched my car. Man that sucks. It's a little thing, few would notice and most would consider it road debris damage. But to me it will forever be obvious.
