It's a perfect plan.

I'm onto your plan Rochester.

My plan:

2027: consider motor mounts

2033: research motor mounts

2035: realize I am the only person left on earth without a hybrid or EV and finally trade the G for something else

(Yeah right! Knowing me, I'll probably have these installed next year)

Snowtires notwithstanding, I haven't driven my car in two weeks. God damn winter.

Yesterday I spent about an hour reasearching shift *****, thinking I might like something new. But I've still not found anything more appealing to me than my teardrop shaped titanium ****. (sigh)

There are not too many good options for our cars in my opinion. Why do you want to change and what has made your short list so far?

Because it's relatively cheap to do, requires zero effort now that I'm already there, and I think it could be fun to have options to change things up now and then.

However, I have none on my short list. I did find this website of interesting stuff yesterday.

https://www.sportshifters.com/service/product-options/

And now we're having this discussion in both our progress threads, LOL.

Just brainstorming... imagine this piston **** wrapped in the same perforated leather I'm using for the boot, which is from Redline Goods. Maybe half less height on the underside shaft, though.

I had a piston shifter from wc lathe works wrapped in leather. The leather moved since it was just wrapped around and stitched tight, I hated it.

I've also been thinking about a new **** but there don't seem to be many options. Come up with something cool so I can copy it

Rochester, are you thinking of just a shift **** and the lower shaft or are you considering their trim plate too? I don't know that the trim plate would fit all that well.

I think your interior would look good with one of the round shift ***** since most of the shapes in our interior have soft rounded edges. Tough to say though as that is personal preference for everyone.

That piston **** looks really nice. I'm very partial to leather wrapped metal ***** especially since the **** can me made out of stainless steel instead of aluminum or titanium, which gives the **** a nice weighted feeling. I'm actually running a leather wrapped Rob **** RK6A-L from UUC Motorwerks in my Porsche and love it.

Why has no one mentioned the new Jag they are having celebrities drive on The Grand Tour? I figured Rochester would be all about it.
Thinking about it now, I would love to see him cringe when they drive it through the gravel.

Haha! That is a great point. I never even thought about Rochester's reaction to that. It's probably a touchy subject for him...

Didn't you notice that's the new 2.0T? Pretty car, sure, but don't care.

That powertrain doesn't belong in that car, IMO.

Agreed. I guess I never really paid much attention to that car as it seemed very quiet. All the fun Jaguars seem to make lots of obnoxious noises. Which one are you pining over- R-Dynamic, 400 Sport?
