I'm willing to try it when I get a chance this weekend when I'll be installing my exhaust (hopefully) and have the car raised. However any difference would have to be relatively drastic for me to notice. I don't think that it will make that much of a difference that I can feel but I'll report anything. Unfortunately it is just a subjective opinion.

Bumping my post so it doesn't get overlooked on the previous page... I'm seriously interested in the answer.
So 5 pages later and still no definitive answer?!?!
Personally, I installed my GTspec FSB with tires on level ground... but what 37hven said make sense to me and if I still had it I would test it out both ways to see if I could feel a difference. At the time of install I had already installed Eibach springs, GTspec 4pt Ladder Brace, Stillen Sways, so maybe that's why I didn't notice the difference too much.
@ Jeremy: I know you're handy, why not be our test dummy (so to speak) and try installing your FSB as 37hven suggests when you get a chance and report back to us your findings?
@ 37hven: Would a lift really need to be used, or could you essentially get the same effect of unloading the suspension by using two floor jacks to take weight off the front of the car while installing?

i guess if you lift it in the same spot a lift would to effectively lift the front. my just have to play with it and measure the strut mounts when you lift it and then mount the bar lifting in one spot then remount at a different spot and see what you feel.

ive done some pricey and non pricey mods and i was just saying for me when comparing the money being spent i was the happiest with the strut bar. hfc getting 10 hp all throughout was 2nd. header job at 1300 was the 2nd to last. the alternator pulley at 350 after install was the last

It's a legitimate mod and should result in sharper turn in going into turns and more precise steering feedback particular in sharp transitions. It didn't give me as much of that as I'd hoped either. But as I said, the last car I installed one on was in much greater need of this than the G37 is. This car isn't "sloppy" from the start so there's only so much room for improvement. After stiffening the anti sway bars, adding the ladder brace and the lateral brace in front, as well as the 6 point and rear cross braces, there wasn't a whole lot left for this to do. Just like the advertised gains from adding intake, headers, cats, exhaust, etc, don't add up to the sum of all the parts.
