If you can find a friend with a digital multimeter (or buy a cheap one at Harbor Freight or Amazon) then you can use the needle type probes to see if you are able to measure the resistors resistance in the chassis side of the air bag wiring harness.
I have a cheap one from harbor freight, but it's useless. I do have a number of mechanics at work who can check this out for me if it comes to that.

Which relay are you referring to anyway? Did you remove/replace that same relay recently? I didn't touch any of my relays when replacing the seats.
The airbag light came back on again today after only about a week with this new resistor. I was able to reset it again by cycling the ignition 3 times, but I feel like I am back to square one.
When you guys had the airbag light, did you reset it by doing the on/off ignition sequence or did you have to have it reset at a dealership?
I just used the ignition switch procedure to reset mine.
As the others mentioned, I would just pick up a decent digital multi-meter off Amazon and check the resistance of the air bag in your OEM seat, so you can make sure you are using the proper resistance resistor.

I've only ever done the on/off reset sequence. I was really hoping that the different resistor would fix your issue. Perhaps there is an issue with the resistor staying in contact with the pin even though you bent it back?
If you don't ever plan on reusing the stock seats you could try what the person on the370z forum did and cut the other half of the connector and solder the resistor to the wires:
I just had a thought.... Are you connecting the resistor to the air bag connector itself or are you tapping into the wires that go to the air bag connector? Once you know the correct resistance then I would try soldering the resistor directly into the chassis wiring harness that goes to the air bag connector. This would make sure the resistor is making proper connection with the chassis harness.

I asked my Infiniti tech across the street to take a look while they put in my 4.083 gears today so I really hope this will be the end of it.
So the Infiniti tech. did not want to touch it because it involved the airbags. I asked my Nissan techs and they were very hesitant as well because some cars will supposedly set off the airbags. I finally got one of them to try to get a reading, but we have a code for an open circuit somewhere. They are trying to figure out what would cause that, but we are at a loss at this point.
Today I thought I would try to get the wiring harness out of the original seat to get back my memory mirrors and steering wheel and see if that helped at all with the airbag light. I got everything connected except it looks like the last wire plugs into something behind the plastic panel on the back of the seat.
Has anyone pulled out the original wiring harness completely or pulled the back of the seat panel off and can tell me how to do it without breaking any clips?
Anyone know how the back panel on the driver's seat comes off so I don't break anything?
The wire on the bottom seems to be the last wire from the wiring harness that appears to go behind the seat panel backing. Has anyone disconnected this all the way so you can tell me how to do it?
